Man, this whole situation is just wild

I mean, 18 is way too young to be carrying around a knife, let alone stab someone to death over some minor disagreement at a party. It's like, you're still figuring out who you are and what you want to do with your life, and then you go and commit such a heinous crime

.
And the fact that it was just a random altercation at a party, I mean, something could've been avoided if people had just calmed down and talked things through. But no, it's easier to resort to violence and hurt someone else in the heat of the moment

.
I'm not gonna lie, though, this is a sobering reminder that we still have a long way to go in terms of preventing violence among our youth. I mean, 18 teenagers were stabbed to death in London last year? That's just crazy

. We need to be doing more to support these young people and teach them how to resolve conflicts peacefully.
Anyway, I guess justice has been served now that Lloyd-Hall has been convicted of murder. But it's gonna take a lot more than a guilty verdict to prevent tragedies like this from happening in the future
