I'm not sure about this new policy in Thailand... I mean, it's great that they're trying to help out these refugees and all, but what about the risks of exploitation? Like, what if employers just take advantage of them because they're desperate for work? And what about language barriers and lack of skills? Are they really going to be able to compete with Thai workers who have been here their whole lives? And I don't get why they need identification documents and banking access... isn't that just a way for the government to keep track of them even more?
