The Netflix-ification of Hollywood โ€” What's the worst that could happen?

idk about this acquisition ๐Ÿค”... i mean, on one hand, its pretty wild to think about netflix owning so many iconic brands like wizarding world and dc universe ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆ‡. but at the same time, if they can make it work and still deliver cool content, then im cool with it ๐Ÿ˜Ž. i just hope we dont lose that diversity of content in the process ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. and yeah, its gotta be tough for ted sarandos to balance those two brands... but hey, he seems like a smart guy so ill give him the benefit of the doubt ๐Ÿ‘. what do u think tho? ๐ŸŽฌ

idk about this whole thing lol. i mean, isn't it kinda cool that netflix is just gonna own so much content? like, wouldn't that be awesome for binge-watching? ๐Ÿคฏ but on the other hand, i don't wanna see all those legacy brands get lost in the shuffle. what if they can't make any new shows or movies anymore? that would suck ๐Ÿ˜”

and yeah, it's weird that everyone seems so chill about this deal. like, shouldn't we be worried about some giant corporation owning everything? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ i mean, back in the day, we used to care about that stuff... remember when you could actually walk into a movie theater and see what was playing on the screen without having to look up reviews online? ๐Ÿ˜‚ those were the days

anywayz, only time will tell if ted sarandos can make this work. i hope he doesn't mess it up too badly ๐Ÿคž

๐Ÿค” y'know i think it's kinda crazy how people are just chill about this huge deal ๐Ÿค‘ like "it's all netflix to me" ๐Ÿ˜‚ but what if this means less diverse content and more of the same old stuff ๐ŸŽฅ? idk man, i'm not a fan of the idea of just one company owning so much power in hollywood ๐Ÿ’”

I dont get why people care so much about this Netflix thingy ๐Ÿค” it just means more shows to watch, right? like, who needs warner bros or dc universe when u have netflix lol their new deal is gonna make everything on netflix better and i cant wait to see what they come up with next ๐Ÿ’ฅ but seriously, wont this mean smaller studios get left out of the game ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I'm not sold on this deal ๐Ÿค”. I mean, we've seen how quickly Netflix consolidates its power and starts pushing out other creators to fit its own vision. If it becomes the de facto owner of these iconic franchises, it's gonna be tough for smaller studios to compete. And what about innovation? We need diverse voices and perspectives in content creation, not just more of the same from one giant entity ๐Ÿ“บ.

And don't even get me started on the whole "free speech" thing ๐Ÿ™„. I think Jane Fonda has a point โ€“ we need to be careful about who's calling the shots in Hollywood. But at the same time, if Netflix can keep its promise to maintain Warner Bros.' release schedule and still produce quality content, then maybe this deal won't be so bad after all ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

But what really gets me is that we're already too reliant on Netflix as our go-to platform ๐Ÿ“Š. We need more options and diversity in the market. If Ted Sarandos can somehow manage to balance HBO's distinct offerings with his own vision, that would be a miracle ๐Ÿ˜ฎ. Still, I'm keeping an eye on this situation โ€“ it could get interesting ๐Ÿ’ก

I'm telling you, back in my day we had real studios and talent, not just some big corporation buying up everyone else ๐Ÿ™„. This Netflix thing is like a bubble about to burst, it's all about control and making money ๐Ÿ’ธ. What's next? Disney owning Pixar? It's all gonna be one big homogenous mess ๐Ÿคฏ.

I mean, can't we have some diversity in our content? Like, what's wrong with a good ol' fashioned movie theater experience? You know, where you sit down, watch a film on the big screen, and feel like you're part of something special โœ๏ธ. Not like this streaming nonsense where it's all about binge-watching in your PJs ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ.

And don't even get me started on the whole "free speech" thing ๐Ÿ˜’. Just 'cause it's not a physical theater doesn't mean it's not affecting our culture. I remember when music was real music, not just some algorithm-generated nonsense ๐ŸŽต. We're losing that magic, folks ๐Ÿ‘€.

Anyway, it's all good, right? It's just business as usual in Hollywood ๐Ÿ’ผ. But mark my words, this is gonna end in a mess ๐ŸŒช๏ธ.
