The Shops at Liberty Place in Center City are up for sale

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s crazy that they’re considering selling a mall in Philly, especially with all the cool things like Puttshack and Juan Pistolas opening up 🤯. The foot traffic on Chestnut Street is insane, I mean 14k cars and 19k pedestrians a day? It's like, the ultimate shopping destination 🛍️. But, at the same time, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows... like, have they thought about how this will affect the local businesses and employees if someone new comes in with a bunch of $$$ 💸? I don't know man, just seems like there's a lot of uncertainty here 🤔.

OMG, I'm so curious about what'll happen next 🤔! The Shops at Liberty Place has been a fave spot for me & my friends since we're from Philly 👀. It's crazy that Metropolis is selling it - I mean, I get it, they want to focus on their office portfolio and invest in new ideas 💼. But what about the shops? Will Juan Pistolas and Victoria's Secret stay? 🤞 And what about Puttshack, I've been meaning to try it out 🎳. A new owner could totally revamp the place & make it even more awesome 🔥!

Mall sales are never a good idea... 🤔 I mean, think about it. These iconic spaces like Liberty Place have character, people actually shop there not just online... what's next? 📦 Online shopping is already taking over everything! I bet whoever buys this will turn it into some soulless giant box store and kill the vibe. And what about all those small businesses like Juan Pistolas? Won't they get pushed out by big corporations? 🤷‍♂️ I just can't see how selling off a successful mall like that is going to make anyone happy...

The Shops at Liberty Place has been on the market for sale? That's kinda surprising 🤔... I mean, it's got some great tenants like Juan Pistolas and Victoria's Secret, but with an occupancy rate of 78%, it's still a bit of a challenge to attract new businesses. Plus, with so many pedestrians passing by every day, you'd think it'd be pretty hard to find someone who wouldn't want to invest in that spot 🚗👣... Metropolis seems like they're just trying to diversify their portfolio and focus on their office investments? That's a smart move, but I hope whoever buys it can bring some fresh ideas to the table 👍

🤔 so like, i was just thinking about trying this new mini golf course near me and i saw they have one of those crazy windmills that looks like it's from a sci-fi movie 🌪️ anyway back to philly, i mean i've been to liberty place a bunch of times but never thought much about the mall itself...it's just so iconic you know? 📸 i was talking to my friend the other day and we were trying to decide which mini golf course is better in our city, one has this really tricky water hole that's super hard to get out of 😂 does anyone else love mini golf?
