I'm so frustrated with this whole situation . It just doesn't seem fair that people are being coerced into leaving their homes in the US just because they're undocumented. I mean, what if they can't afford to leave? The government is making it way too hard for them and then freezes their assets after deportation... it's like they're cutting off their lifeline .
And don't even get me started on the CBP Home app . It sounds like a total mess. I wouldn't want to try using that thing, it's got to be super confusing. The government needs to rethink this whole self-deportation program and make sure people have the resources they need to leave safely and without getting exploited .
I also feel bad for families who are left behind. Their kids might not get their future asylum claims processed properly... it's just so unfair . Can't we find a better way to deal with immigration issues?
