The Virgins review – a tornado of gossip, pretence and pain as teens make Friday night sex night

😒 the play sounds super awkward lol imagine being surrounded by your friends and just feeling so extra on a night out 🤣 chloe's trying to impress anyonea but her stories are literally cringeworthy 📝 if i were in that situation id be like "girl bye" and just leave already 😂
 
Ugh, have you seen the ticket prices for this play?! £50+? Are they kidding me? I know it's supposed to be some deep exploration of adolescence, but honestly, it sounds like just another overpriced drama night 🤦‍♀️. And what's with the orchestra? Who thought dramatic music was necessary for a play about teenagers being awkward and uncertain? Just give us some real dialogue and character development already! 👎 I mean, sure, I get that it's supposed to be authentic and raw, but do we really need all the extra flair? Can't they just stick to the script and save the cash? 💸
 
I'm not sure I buy this whole "adolescence is a painful and formative experience" thing. I mean, how many times have we been told that? It sounds like just another buzzword for the industry to cash in on. Where are the actual statistics or studies to back this up?

And what's with all this fuss about virgins being "prone to panic"? Is that really a new phenomenon or just a label created to make a story more interesting? I'd love to see some data on how common anxiety is among teenagers, especially in relation to sex.

The music choices seem a bit on the nose too – dramatic orchestral scores are usually reserved for the most emotionally charged scenes. It sounds like they're trying too hard to create tension where it might not be there.
