I'm kinda surprised they're offering such a discount on TurboTax... like, think about it, we've been paying for this stuff for years and now some giant company is making it cheaper just because spring is coming 
. Plus, I mean, 44% off the deluxe version is still pretty steep - that's almost half off what it was. Not bad, but also not like they're doing us a solid or anything... still good to know we've got some options if we can't get Direct File

I mean, $45 for TurboTax Deluxe? It's about time they finally came down on price, but what's with the catch that you need a decent computer? Like, can't we get software that works with older machines or something? I've got an old laptop and it still runs fine. This deal is great for some people, but not everyone has access to a new computer
