I'm so hyped for the new Lynley series! I mean, who doesn't love a good detective story with complex characters? The dynamic between Lynley's posh background and Havers' street smarts sounds like it could create some amazing tension. And omg, that Emmerdale/Coronation Street crossover event? That's gotta be entertaining! Can't wait to see how they tackle the case and what kind of drama unfolds. And Lucy Worsley's true crime doco on BBC Two looks so intriguing - Victorian-era murders are always a fascinating topic . Bring it on!
omg i'm so down for the new Lynley reboot !! leo suter looks like a total fit guy and i love how his character's got some drama surrounding his rich background . hopefully it'll be as addictive as the original series was back in the day . but anyway, have you seen gemma atkinson's protein doc on channel 4? what's up with all this superfood craze tho?!
I'm so hyped for the new Lynley series! I love how the BBC is bringing back classic shows . The idea of Lynley's fancy background clashing with Havers' street smarts sounds like a recipe for some amazing drama. Can't wait to see what kind of crazy cases they get themselves into . Also, that University Challenge episode sounds super intense - those brainy contestants must be so stoked to be competing . The Victorian Thames Torso Murderer doco also caught my eye, been fascinated by true crime for ages . And finally, can't believe Channel 5 is tackling some heavy stuff like the Lancashire squat murder documentary... hope they get the truth out
They really need to hurry up with this reboot already lol it's been ages since we've seen Lynley on screen! The chemistry between him and Havers sounds legit tho, fingers crossed they don't mess it up . At least there's some good stuff on TV otherwise
im so down for this lynley reboot i've heard leo suter's take on lynley is pretty solid lol but what im really excited about is that we get to see lynley's dynamic with barbara havers - their contrasting backgrounds are gonna create some crazy interesting tension. and omg a super soap crossover event? sounds like a recipe for drama heaven
I'm not sure about this Lynley reboot, but I'll give it a shot . So, Elizabeth George's novels are all about class differences, right? But is it really necessary to have an upper-class detective teaming up with a working-class partner just to make the show more interesting? Sounds like they're trying too hard to be 'diverse' for my taste . I mean, what's wrong with having a well-rounded character from different walks of life naturally? Maybe this is what they're going for, but I need some concrete proof that this partnership will actually work in the show... or at least get some decent reviews from critics .
