Ugh, I'm still shaking my head about this

... like, can you even imagine being in that student's shoes? One minute you're enjoying some quality time with your family, next thing you know you're being rounded up and deported! It's just not right

. And what really gets me is the fact that it happened behind closed doors, no fanfare or public debate... just a bunch of bureaucrats making decisions that affect people's lives without any real oversight or accountability

.
And don't even get me started on how vulnerable students like this are during breaks when they can barely get a hold of anyone to advocate for them

. It's just not fair to ask someone to navigate these complex immigration systems with so little support. I mean, what happens if you're already stressed out and overwhelmed with school and family obligations? Deportation is the last thing on your mind... but it can happen in a heartbeat

.
We need to start asking some tough questions about our immigration enforcement priorities

. Are we really prioritizing deportations over people's lives? Shouldn't we be focusing on finding solutions that keep families together and provide a path forward for those who are here lawfully? This case is just another reminder of the importance of due process protections and holding our bureaucrats accountable
