Utah man eyed in Colorado murder believes victim's spirit urged him to buy sweatshirt that helped clear him

Utah Man Cleared of Murder After Buying Sweatshirt Urged by Victim's Spirit

Anthony Holland, a 42-year-old man from Utah, was visited by law enforcement at his home on December 14th, 2023. He had no idea what crime he committed and believed he would be sent to jail. However, an investigation into the murder of Kristil Krug in Colorado revealed that Holland had an airtight alibi.

Krug, a 43-year-old mother of three young children, was found murdered in her garage on November 28th, 2023. In the weeks leading up to her death, she and her husband Dan Krug received threatening texts and emails from a stalker, which investigators believed was Holland. The police asked Holland's colleagues in Utah to confirm his whereabouts at the time of the murder.

Holland had purchased a sweatshirt the day before Krug's murder at 12:16 pm, but he couldn't possibly have committed the crime and returned to Utah by the time of the murder. He showed police the receipt with the exact date and time stamped. This alibi cleared him immediately.

In an interview with "48 Hours," Holland revealed that he believes the spirit of Kristil Krug played a crucial role in his acquittal. According to him, after breaking up with Krug in 2000, their relationship seemed cut off forever. However, on November 27th, 2023, Holland reported feeling an unusual urge - "I just got an urge. I need another one. I don't have enough" - and subsequently bought a new sweatshirt.

Holland also mentioned that his late mother may have played some part in clearing his name, possibly through her spirit as well. This unexplained purchase led to the crucial alibi that ultimately exonerated Holland.

Dan Krug was arrested two days after Krug's death and charged with stalking and murder.

πŸ™„ I mean, come on... a guy buys a sweatshirt because he gets an "urge" from some dead woman's spirit and suddenly he's got an alibi that clears him of murder? That's just too much to believe. And now his ex is free because her husband got caught for stalking her? This whole thing smells like a setup. I'm not saying Dan Krug was innocent, but the way this all went down seems suspiciously convenient. And what's with Holland's story about his mom's spirit helping him out too? That just sounds like a bunch of hooey to me πŸ™ƒ

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this one 🀯... so some dude buys a sweatshirt at 12:16 pm on Nov 27th, gets an urge, and then buys another one the next day? Like, what are the chances, right? And now he's being cleared of murder because his mom's ghost might've had something to do with it πŸ™... I mean, I'm all for a good miracle, but this is just wild πŸŒͺ️. Can't say I'm buying into the whole spirit thing, but hey, if it worked out for Anthony Holland then more power to him πŸ’ͺ.

That's wild! I'm still trying to wrap my head around it 🀯. Like, who knew buying a sweatshirt could be the key to clearing your name? πŸ›οΈ #JusticeForAnthonyHolland. It's crazy to think about how the spirit of Kristil Krug played a role in her own murder investigation 😱. I guess you could say she was trying to protect her husband from himself πŸ‘€. And now Dan Krug is behind bars, which is definitely a silver lining for Anthony πŸš” #JusticeServed.

I'm not sure what's more shocking, the fact that the spirit of Kristil Krug helped clear Anthony's name or that he just went with it πŸ˜‚. Like, if you're going to make an appearance in your own murder investigation, might as well go all out! πŸ‘» #SpiritualIntervention.

Anyway, I'm glad everything worked out for Anthony and that his life can finally move forward without the weight of a wrongful conviction πŸ’• #NewBeginnings. And let's not forget about the importance of receipts and being able to prove your alibi πŸ“πŸ‘ #EvidenceMatters.

πŸ€” I mean, can you believe this? Anthony Holland gets cleared of murder over a stupid sweatshirt πŸ˜‚. I'm not saying it's crazy or anything but... like, what are the chances, right? He just buys this shirt and suddenly he's got an alibi that makes him a totally innocent guy πŸ™. And now his mom's spirit is getting all the attention too πŸ’€. It's like, okay, maybe there's some weird stuff going on in our world but... I don't know, can we please just focus on the facts for once? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

🀯 I'm telling you, this is some crazy stuff! So, some dude buys a sweatshirt at 12:16 pm on Nov 27th, 'cause he felt an urge, and it turns out that's the exact time the victim was murdered... like, what are the chances?! πŸ€‘ And now he's been cleared of all charges, just because his mom's spirit might've played a part? That's wild! I don't know if I believe in spirits or not, but if this is real, it's def one weird case. πŸ˜‚ The police were like "okay, we've got an alibi" after Holland showed them the receipt... what more proof do you need?! πŸ™Œ

πŸ€” I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing... like, what even is going on here? So there's this guy in Utah who buys a sweatshirt and gets accused of murdering someone in Colorado just because he got an urge from the victim's spirit? πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ It sounds crazy, but I guess it worked out for him in the end.

I don't know about you guys, but that's just wild. Like, can spirits influence our actions like that? Is this some kind of supernatural evidence? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I'm not buying it (no pun intended), but at the same time... I'm also kinda fascinated by it?

What do you think is going on here? Is there more to the story than what's being reported? πŸ’‘

omg, can you believe this story? 😲 a guy gets cleared of murder due to buying a sweatshirt that had nothing to do with the crime 🀣... like what other explanation is there? i think holland is onto something about his mom's spirit though πŸ‘» it's not uncommon for people to feel things and then go on to do them. anyway, this whole thing is wild. 48 hours is gonna have a blast making a show out of this πŸ˜‚

I'm totally fascinated by this crazy story 🀯! So there's this dude, Anthony Holland, who buys a sweatshirt the day before the murder happens and has no idea what crime he committed, right? And then it turns out that the police were like "Oh, this dude can't be our guy because he was at home buying clothes" πŸ˜‚. I mean, what are the chances? But seriously, I think it's pretty cool how technology played a role here, with the receipt and all. It just goes to show you how much evidence is available online these days πŸ“Š. And I gotta ask, if Holland's mom is watching from above, does she still have a favorite sweatshirt brand or something? πŸ˜‰

wow thats such a crazy case! 😲 I mean who expects to be cleared of murder just because they bought a sweatshirt at like 12:16 pm?! 🀣 it's amazing how the universe can work in mysterious ways. i think its kinda cool that Holland believes his late mom and Krug's spirit had something to do with it too! love the idea of spirits intervening for good. anyway, hope Dan Krug gets the help he needs 🀞

I gotta say, this whole story is wild 🀯. First of all, I'm glad Anthony Holland got cleared of the crime, but like, what even happened here? πŸ˜‚ A spirit telling him to buy a sweatshirt? That's some crazy stuff! I mean, I've heard of people saying they had a 'gut feeling' or ' intuition', but this is on another level 🀯. And now he's crediting his mom's spirit too? That's just wild, fam 😲.

I don't know what kind of deal was made between the spirits and the police, but it's clear that this case has some serious weirdness to it 🎭. I'm not saying it's impossible for something like this to happen, but at least Holland got off scot-free (literally). Anyway, what do you guys think? Can we believe in spirit-led purchases now πŸ˜‚?

🀯 this is wild 🚨 like what even is going on here? some dude buys a sweatshirt because he feels an urge and it ends up being the key to his acquittal πŸ™„ meanwhile dan krug is locked down for stalkin' & murder πŸš”

😊 this is insane! can u believe this? some people think our spirits can influence real life events 🀯 like holland believed krug's spirit told him to get that sweatshirt which led to his innocent alibi πŸ‘•πŸ’« i'm not saying it's supernatural but it's definitely an interesting twist of fate πŸ”„ my mom always says karma comes around and this is a crazy example of that 😊

πŸ™ this is literally the most amazing thing I've heard in ages! like, who needs a supercomputer when you've got a guy buying sweatshirts to clear his name πŸ›οΈ?? the part about Holland feeling that spirit urge to buy another one is just wild - what are the chances?! πŸ’« and honestly, I'm so glad Dan Krug was caught for stalking and murder, but this whole thing just shows that justice can be served in so many weird and wonderful ways 😊

πŸ€” I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing... I mean, a guy buys a sweatshirt at 12:16 pm the day before someone gets murdered and suddenly he's cleared of all charges? πŸ™„ It just doesn't add up. And what really gets me is that his spirit says "buy another one" - like it's some kind of supernatural shopping list? πŸ˜‚ I'm not buying it (pun intended). There has to be a more rational explanation, but honestly, at this point, I don't know what to believe. Can we just say it was a weird coincidence and move on? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

omg did u read about this guy anthony holland from utah? so he gets visited by cops at his house on dec 14th and they're like 'uh we think ur involved in this murder' but turns out he had no idea what r u talking about lol. anyway he buys a sweatshirt on the day before krug's murder & gets the exact date & time on receipt... like who does that?

anyway holland says it was krug's spirit who made him buy that sweatshirt and his late mom too who might've been all 'hey kid ur not gonna get in trouble' or something i'm dead. can u even imagine having a spirit guide u through court cases?

OMG u guys!! this is literally CRAZY 🀯 so some dude in Utah buys a sweatshirt at 12:16 pm on Nov 27th and then gets accused of murdering some other lady in Colorado just because she was sending him weird texts? πŸ™„ like what even is that?! And the craziest part is he can prove he wasn't there when it happened cuz his receipt shows the exact time and date he bought the sweatshirt! πŸ˜‚ so yeah I guess you could say the spirit of the lady played a role in him getting cleared? πŸ’« but also lol maybe his mom's ghost was just trying to get revenge on Dan Krug for being a creep?! πŸ‘»πŸ˜

OMG 🀯 this is literally CRAZY!!! I mean i've heard of people having premonitions or whatnot but this is on a whole different level!!! So like Anthony bought that sweatshirt at 12:16 pm the day before Krug's murder and the police have the receipt with the exact date and time stamped... it's like proof he wasn't even in Colorado at the time of her death!!! And then he mentions feeling this weird urge to get another one and buying a new sweatshirt the next day... like what are the chances?!?! πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I'm not saying it's all because of some spirit or anything but it's just so wild that his alibi cleared him completely and Dan Krug is the one who got arrested!!! I need more info on this story!!
