Victims' families sue Camp Mystic over deadly Texas floods

can't believe this happened again 🤕... so sad for those families, my heart goes out to them. i mean, it's just not right that they have to go through all this emotional pain because the owners supposedly didn't do enough to prevent the flooding in the first place. and now they're suing for compensation, which is totally fair imo 🤑... as a parent myself, the thought of my kids being in harm's way at a summer camp makes me super anxious, so i can only imagine how hard it must be for those families. and yeah, safety measures need to be tightened up for these types of facilities - it's just basic common sense 💡

Ugh, come on! The camp owners are just trying to save face here 🙄. I mean, we all know how unpredictable Texas weather can be, so a little extra planning wouldn't have killed anyone...literally 😬. It's like, basic human decency to put your guests first in an emergency situation! And now these families are stuck with a lawsuit and who knows how much emotional trauma? 🤯 I'm not buying the whole "we did everything we could" thing from the owners. A thorough risk assessment would've caught that swollen creek coming, no problem 💡.

Ugh, this is such a sad situation 🤕. Five young lives lost to preventable tragedy... it's just not right. The owners of Camp Mystic need to take responsibility for their actions, plain and simple. I mean, how hard can it be to prepare for heavy rain and flooding? It's basic safety 101.

I'm all for holding people accountable, but at the same time, let's not forget that accidents can happen even with the best precautions. Maybe they did everything right, but still... 😔. What's even more frustrating is that this incident could've been prevented if they had done their due diligence. It's just so heartbreaking for the families of those girls.

I hope the lawsuit brings some much-needed changes to how summer camps and recreational facilities handle emergencies. We need better safety measures in place, period. 🙏

This is just heartbreaking 🤕... I mean, how can you just relax and not take proper precautions when it's raining cats and dogs outside? The owners are saying they did everything they could, but come on, a creek overflowing its banks is not exactly something you can control 🌊. And what really gets my goat is that the families of these girls deserve justice and compensation for their loss 💸... I'm all for them fighting for what's right, but at the same time, it's just so sad that we're having to go through this nightmare again 🤯. Can't we just learn from our mistakes and make sure these types of tragedies don't happen in the future? 😔
