The whole "putting these criminals at the bottom of the ocean" thing does sound pretty extreme, though. Shouldn't we be trying to negotiate with these groups instead of resorting to force?

i mean, a war at sea? that sounds like something out of a movie... but seriously, it's not like we haven't seen this before. isn't it always some admin trying to tackle the narco problem? anyway, hope they actually get something done instead of just making noise
