Video shows moment man throws yogurt on two women in Iran | CNN

A shocking incident unfolded at a store in Shandiz, Iran, when a man violently targeted two unveiled women. According to a viral video, the assailant, seemingly out of nowhere, lunged at the pair and seized a container of yogurt, hurling it straight at their heads. The impact was brutal, with the women left stunned and possibly injured.

The footage shows the male staff member swiftly intervening, apprehending the suspect and escorting him away from the store. Unfortunately, CNN was unable to determine what had preceded this violent outburst, leaving many questions unanswered about the motivations behind the attack.

Ugh, seriously though... 🤯 a guy just goes full-on crazy on two women at a store in Iran for not covering up?! Like, what's going on here? 🤷‍♀️ is this some kind of backwards mindset that thinks women are supposed to be walking around like they're some sort of... I don't know, property or something?! 😱 Newsflash: women are human beings too! And just because they choose to express themselves in a way that's different from societal norms doesn't mean they deserve to be attacked.

And what really gets my goat is that we still live in a world where this kind of thing can happen. I mean, two men and girls are walking around freely at 3 pm, no problem... but add the fact that one of those women happened to unveil herself (which, btw, is her right), and suddenly she's got a target on her back?! It's just so frustrating and infuriating. Can't we just accept each other for who we are and let people live their lives without fear of violence?! 🤦‍♀️

Man, this incident is just a reminder that we gotta be vigilant about people's behavior around us 🤯. It's easy to misinterpret someone's actions or tone, but it's not always safe to assume what's going on in their mind. The perpetrator might've had some underlying issue or frustration that escalated into something violent. We can't just write off the man who did this as a crazy person; there must be more to the story.

The fact that two unveiled women were targeted speaks volumes about societal pressures and the need for respect 🙅‍♀️. As individuals, we gotta support each other and stand up against injustice when we see it. The store staff's quick response was heroic, but we should also be asking ourselves how we can prevent such incidents from happening in the first place.

It's a sobering reminder that our actions can have unintended consequences 🤝. Let's strive to be empathetic and understanding towards each other, even when we disagree or don't know what someone is going through 😊.

🚨 This is insane! What's going on with these guys? I mean, a container of yogurt?! 😱 You'd think they'd have some better reason for attacking those women than just being angry at their hair or clothes. And what's up with the staff member just standing there waiting to get attacked? Doesn't he know how to handle a situation like this? 🤔 I'm all for people expressing themselves, but come on! You can't just go around hitting people because you're mad about something they're wearing. That's not cool, that's not acceptable. And what about the women? They didn't deserve that kind of treatment. 😡 We need to stand up against this kind of violence and make sure our girls are safe in public places. 💪

man whats going on in shandiz iran? this is so disturbing 🤕😱 a guy just loses his cool and targets these two women who arent even doing anything wrong. its just crazy to think that someone can be so violent over something as trivial as that yogurt container. i feel bad for the women, they must have been really shaken by the whole ordeal 😓. also whats with the lack of security in the store? didnt anyone see this guy coming? 🤔 its a good thing the staff member intervened quickly to prevent things from getting worse. we need to think about how we can support these women and make sure something like this never happens again 💖

I think the store owner should get in trouble for letting this guy just walk around and lose his temper over 2 girls showing some skin. I mean, you gotta have security measures in place, especially if they're working alone at night 🤯. It's not like these girls were doing anything wrong, just being themselves and getting a little attention from the dude. And what's with the yogurt incident? Was he trying to distract them or was it really that important? It seems pretty fishy to me. The fact that nothing was done before this happened is also super concerning - when does something like this become a bigger deal in Iran?
