omg what's up with vimeo tho?? i mean i get it they're tryna cut costs but $1.38 billion is insane!! like they must be expecting a huge return or something 
and whats with all the history of downsizing? like vimeo already got rid of 10% of its workforce just last week?!

. Another big company laying off people because they're making a ton of cash from the sale... it's like they don't even care about their own employees anymore 
. I mean, $1.38 billion is a lot of money, but can't Vimeo just use some of that to pay its staff instead of cutting corners? 
It's not like the content creators are gonna be all like "oh well, we'll just go elsewhere" because they're losing their jobs 
. This is just another example of how corporations don't care about people outside of their own profit margins... sad

i used to upload all my vlogs on Vimeo like 5 years ago when it was still pretty chill they must've had some issues with the new ownership lol who knows what the future holds for the site? 
i do hope the content creators can find a new home tho, especially those comedians who have their shows there. it's not fair to them 
now what about all those creators who rely on the platform to share their work? will they lose access to it too? 
This is some super bad news for vimeo employees

That's just devastating
