Want to party the Chicago-Rican way? Here's where to watch Bad Bunny's halftime show in the Chicago area

Chicagoans are gearing up for a celebration like no other as Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny prepares to put on the first-ever Spanish-language Super Bowl halftime show, affectionately known as the "Benito Bowl". To commemorate this momentous occasion, Chicago's vibrant Puerto Rican community is hosting numerous watch parties and pre-game gatherings that promise to be an unforgettable experience.

For those who can't make it to Humboldt Park for the sold-out Fiestas Puertorriqueñas party at the Residencia pop-up space, other options abound. In Old Town, Galeria Chicago's pop-up will feature island-inspired cocktails and a reggaeton soundtrack curated by local DJs in their La Casita pop-up. Meanwhile, HVAC Pub in Wrigleyville is setting up its own "casita" - a replica of the small house Bad Bunny featured on stage during his Puerto Rican residency last summer - for guests to enjoy traditional coquito while cheering on the game.

In addition to these events, Chicago's Latin culture series, ¡Pachanga!, will be hosting a watch party at Bar Sol in Navy Pier. The event promises an all-you-can-eat spread of wings and appetizers until halftime, with local DJs spinning tracks to keep the energy high. Tickets are just $29.34.

For those looking for more than just a drink and some snacks, Chucherías Tropical Creations in Humboldt Park is hosting a Super Bowl party that's as much about the food as it is about the game. The bakery will be serving up Puerto Rican pastries with a Bad Bunny twist, accompanied by a screening of the Patriots v. Seahawks game. And thanks to a sponsorship from Medalla Light, attendees can enjoy free beer all night long.

On February 8th, Chicagoans can also find themselves dancing at other watch parties around town. At Sentido 018 in Hermosa, local DJs will take over the Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center with an all-star lineup and plenty of drink options - a ticket isn't required, just RSVPs are needed to support the venue's community center.

The suburbs aren't missing out either. In Berwyn, Jardín GastroBar is hosting its own Benito Bowl watch party, featuring state-of-the-art sound systems and a menu of night bites until 1 a.m. And for those who want to get their dance on after the game, local Mexican group Grupo Vanguardia will be performing at 5 Stars Sports in Melrose Park.

Whatever your style or preference, there's something for everyone when it comes to celebrating Bad Bunny's historic Super Bowl performance. So grab some wings, don't forget your sunglasses, and get ready to party the Chicago-Rican way!
