WATCH: 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' trailer reunites Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt

In a long-awaited comeback, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci are set to reunite in the highly anticipated sequel "The Devil Wears Prada 2". A new trailer has been released, giving fans a glimpse into the world of Runway magazine, where the iconic characters will once again take center stage.

In the trailer, Miranda Priestly (Streep) makes an impressive return as the demanding and ruthless editor-in-chief, yet she seems to have forgotten her newest protégée, Andy Sachs (Hathaway). "Sorry, who is this? Do you know her?" Priestly asks Nigel (Tucci), as Hathaway introduces herself. This comedic twist hints at the same cutthroat dynamics that defined the first film.

The sequel boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, and Justin Theroux, in addition to returning favorites like Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman. Director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna are also back on board, promising a similar blend of fashion, drama, and wit that captivated audiences two decades ago.

The sequel is set for release on May 1, exclusively in theaters. For those who grew up with Andy Sachs's character in the original film, it promises to be a thrilling return to the world of Runway magazine, where the stakes are high and the fashion is higher. Don't miss "The Devil Wears Prada 2" as it takes audiences on another journey down the catwalk.

I'm so stoked for this comeback! I mean, can you think of a more iconic cast reunion than Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci? 🤩 It's like they're picking up right where they left off at Runway magazine. The comedic twist with Miranda Priestly forgetting Andy Sachs is genius - it's like she's still got that infamous sharp tongue and icy demeanor.

The fact that the sequel has an impressive ensemble cast is just the icing on the cake. I love how they've managed to bring back some of the original favorites, like Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman, while introducing new faces like Simone Ashley and Justin Theroux. The trailer gives me major flashbacks to the first film - that cutthroat world of Runway is one of my faves.

What I'm most excited about is how they're promising a similar blend of fashion, drama, and wit. The original film was all about the high stakes and high heels, and I know I'll be living for it all over again in May 1st. It's like no time has passed at all - just more of the same fabulousness with these incredible actresses and talented crew. Get ready to indulge in some serious fashion therapy! 👗

I'm so stoked for this sequel! I mean, who wouldn't want to see Meryl Streep back as Miranda Priestly? 😂 She's just too iconic for words. And with Anne Hathaway reprising her role as Andy Sachs, it's like they never left the fashion world behind. 🤣 The dynamic between Miranda and Andy was always so compelling - I'm loving this comedic twist of Miranda forgetting her protégée! 💁‍♀️ It's going to be so much fun to see these characters back together again, especially with that amazing ensemble cast! 👥

🙄 I mean, I'm kinda excited for this sequel, but also a bit worried that they're relying too heavily on nostalgia. Like, we all still love Andy and Miranda's rivalry from the first film, but how can they top that? The trailer does look fun, tho! 🎥 I wonder if they'll bring back any of the iconic Runway moments or just have us relive old memories? Also, who's playing Nigel this time around? Is it just gonna be Tucci reprising his role? 😒

Ugh, I'm already getting anxiety thinking about this sequel 🙅‍♂️. It's been 20 years since the original and now we're getting a remake or rather, a continuation? The first film was iconic but I think they've lost that magic. Meryl Streep is still amazing though, no doubt about it 😊. But what really gets me is how they're bringing back the same cast and crew from the original. It's like they're trying to recreate the past instead of innovating something new. And don't even get me started on the title 🤦‍♀️, "The Devil Wears Prada 2" sounds so cliché. I'm still not sold on this one, might have to wait and see how it plays out 😐

OMG u guys its finally happening 🤩👗 The Devil Wears Prada 2 is comin & i am SO here for it!! I mean who doesn't love a good dose of Miranda Priestly drama? 😂 The original was iconic & this new trailer gives me LIFE! I'm low-key excited to see what kinda tea Andy Sachs gets up to in her return, & that comedic twist with Miranda forgetting her protégée is EVERYTHING! 💁‍♀️👠 Plus the cast is looking fire 🔥! Can't wait for May 1st, gonna be a major fashion fest 🎉💅
