Watch the Highlights From WIRED’s Big Interview Event Right Here

Wired recently hosted its annual "Big Interview" event, bringing together an impressive lineup of high-profile figures in tech, culture, business, and science. This year's event marked a return to in-person talks after a few years of virtual events due to the pandemic.

The event featured an array of notable guests including AMD CEO Lisa Su, director Jon M. Chu, Anthropic cofounder Daniela Amodei, Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince, author Eric Topol, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, Michele L. Jawando from Omidyar Network, Jeremy Allaire from Circle, gun-safety advocate David Hogg, former acting commissioner of the Social Security Administration Leland Dudek, and entrepreneurs Alex Komoroske and Mike Masnick.

During the event, guests participated in unscripted Q&A sessions with journalists from Wired, offering a glimpse into their perspectives on current events and future trends. The attendees also had the opportunity to engage with hands-on demos and other interactive experiences as part of what Wired describes as "a modern-day science fair."

The gathering served as an opportunity for these influential figures to share insights and discuss pressing topics.

OMG, can you believe AMD's Lisa Su was there? 🤯 I mean, she's literally changing the game with those EPIC GPUs. And that science fair thing they had was actually kinda cool... who knew Wire'd do something like that again after all these years 😂. San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie attending too? That's so awesome! 🙌 I'm kinda surprised David Hogg made it, given what happened a few years ago... still glad he spoke up about gun safety tho ❤️. Anyway, just love how Wired brings people together for this Big Interview thingy, always gets me hyped for new ideas and innovations 💡

Man, I'm so stoked that Wired brought back their Big Interview event after all the pandemic stuff! It's awesome to see people from different industries and fields coming together in person 🤝. The lineup this year is seriously impressive - I mean, who wouldn't want to hear from AMD CEO Lisa Su or gun-safety advocate David Hogg? 🙌

I love that they had hands-on demos and interactive experiences at the event too - it's like a modern-day science fair! 🎮 It's so cool to see entrepreneurs like Alex Komoroske and Mike Masnick sharing their ideas and innovations with everyone. And can we talk about how inspiring it is to have leaders like Michele L. Jawando from Omidyar Network and Jeremy Allaire from Circle at the event? 💡

It feels like we're finally getting back to some sense of normalcy after all the pandemic drama, and events like this are just what we need to stay inspired and connected 🌈!

🤔 I think it's cool that Wired brought back in-person events, but also kinda weird that they only now are doing it after a few years of virtual events 🤷‍♂️. Like, don't get me wrong, I'm down for the social aspect and all, but isn't there still a lot to be gained from remote conversations? 💻 We're living in a time where we can access so much info online... it feels like we should be making better use of that tech 🤖. Anyway, gotta give props to Wired for bringing together such an impressive lineup – it's always rad to see these influential folks sharing their thoughts and expertise 💡.

Ugh, can you believe how old AMD CEO Lisa Su looked last week 🤯?! I mean, she's still killing it in the game but honestly, 52 is getting up there and it feels like just yesterday she was a young whippersnapper trying to make a name for herself in this crazy tech industry 🤑.

And then there's Matthew Prince from Cloudflare... what can you even say about that guy? The man is literally changing the world with his firewall solutions, but I swear he looks more and more like my dad after every conversation we have 😂.

But in all seriousness, it's awesome to see these high-profile figures coming together to discuss pressing issues and share their expertise. It feels like we're finally getting some sense from people who know what they're talking about 🤓.

I'm still not convinced about all this fuss around big conferences like Wired's Big Interview 🤔... I mean, sure, it's great that they're getting more people together in person again, but is it really necessary? Can't we just have a good ol' fashioned podcast or online Q&A session instead of making a big deal out of it? 😐 I don't know about you guys, but I've been following some of the conversations and I'm still waiting to see if anyone's got any real answers for us 🤷‍♂️.

I was thinking, it's awesome that they're having in-person events again 🤩, after all the online stuff we've been doing during the pandemic. It's like, we get so used to just staring at screens, but sometimes you need a little human interaction, you know? 💡 I mean, some of these people are total rockstars, like Lisa Su from AMD - she's crushing it in that industry! 🚀 And to see them all gathered together, sharing their thoughts and experiences... it's really inspiring. I wish I could've been there, but maybe next year, right? 😊

lol just saw this article about wired's big interview event 🤯 i think its so cool that they're back to in-person events after the pandemic, it feels like a breath of fresh air 💨 anyway, loved seeing all the diverse guests on the lineup - AMD CEO Lisa Su to gun-safety advocate David Hogg, what a great mix right? 🤝 and omg, i'm intrigued by Anthropic cofounder Daniela Amodei's work, gotta look into that more 📊

OMG, can you believe how fast time flies?! 🕰️ I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it's 2025 and we're already talking about virtual events from 2 years ago 🤯. Anyway, I love how Wired brought back the Big Interview event after a few years off - it was so good to see everyone in person again! The lineup of guests this year was insane... I mean, who would've thought you'd be sipping coffee with AMD CEO Lisa Su and gun-safety advocate David Hogg at the same time? 🤪 And the hands-on demos and interactive experiences sounded like so much fun - I wish I coulda been there! But I guess that's just not how things work anymore... 😔

I'm so glad we're finally back to in-person events after all those years of Zoom meetings 🙌. I mean, don't get me wrong, virtual events are convenient and all, but there's just something about face-to-face conversations that can't be beat. It's like, you can read people a lot better when they're standing right in front of you 😊.

And the lineup for this Wired event was seriously impressive! I'm loving that they included people from different fields like science and politics – it shows they're trying to cover all bases 🤓. And who knows, maybe we'll even learn something new from these folks 🔍. The hands-on demos sound like a blast too – it's always great to see innovation in action 💻.

I do wish they'd included more accessibility options, though... some of those guests might've had trouble with the venue 🤦‍♀️. But overall, it sounds like an amazing event that brought together people from all walks of life 💖.

Man, it's crazy how much has changed since I was in college 🤯. Remember when you could just walk into a building and expect to meet the CEO of a company? Now we're all about virtual events and Q&A sessions...it's like we've lost that human touch 😔. But at the same time, it's awesome that they're trying to make these kinds of events more accessible and interactive 🎨.

I gotta say, though, having an entire room full of influential people in one place is just so cool 🤩. It's like a modern-day salon, minus the fancy hairdos 💇‍♀️. I mean, can you imagine attending an event with David Hogg in attendance? That's some serious gun-safety hero vibes 💪.

But what really gets me is how these events often feel more like infomercials than actual conversations 📺. I'm not saying that's always a bad thing, but sometimes it feels like we're just getting spoon-fed info instead of having real discussions 🤔. Still, I guess that's the nature of the beast in this fast-paced world we live in 🌐.

Oh well, at least they had some interactive experiences and demos to make up for it 🎮. And hey, who knows? Maybe next year's event will be even more epic 😄.

🤔 It's crazy how even in today's fast-paced digital world, we still need events like this to bring people together in person 📚. I mean, think about it, when was the last time you had a meaningful conversation with someone without distractions? It's easy to get caught up in our own little bubbles online, but sometimes it takes a physical space and human interaction to really connect and learn from each other 💡. And that's exactly what this event did - brought together people from different walks of life to share their perspectives and insights 🌎. It's a reminder that even though we're living in an era of rapid progress, there's still value in slowing down and listening to each other 🕰️.
