I'm loving this whole self-driving thing! Back in my day, we were just starting to get used to ride-hailing services like Uber, but now it's like we're living in a sci-fi movie . I mean, can you imagine not having to worry about driving or even being behind the wheel? It's crazy to think that Waymo's robotaxis are already cruising around SFO, and soon they'll be hitting other airports too! I'm all for innovation, but safety has to be the top priority โ especially when it comes to kids getting hurt. Fingers crossed the NHTSA gets to the bottom of that incident ASAP . Still, it's exciting to see autonomous vehicles becoming a reality, and who knows, maybe one day we'll have them zipping around our cities like they're on their own personal subway system !
I'm thinking about how autonomous transportation is changing our perspective on safety and reliability... like, we're so used to relying on human intervention that even when it's not needed anymore, there's still this lingering fear of something going wrong . But at the same time, can't we appreciate the beauty in a system being designed to eliminate human error? It's like, our reliance on tech is making us question what it means to be safe and reliable... are we trading one kind of risk for another? And what does this say about our society that we're so willing to experiment with new forms of transportation without fully understanding the implications
you know what's wild? like waymo's got this super cool tech but have you ever noticed how weird airport food can be? like they always serve the same old bland sandwiches and overpriced coffee... i mean, can't we get some good ol' fashioned burgers and fries at sfo? also, did u hear about that new game coming out for pc this year? supposedly it's gonna be like nothing we've ever seen before.
can't believe we're already seeing autonomous taxi services at airports - game changer for accessibility & reduced traffic congestion also super convenient for travelers with mobility issues or those just want to relax during their layover only hope is that the tech is really safe & reliable, and not gonna be a major headache for NHTSA investigating an incident already
I'm loving this move by Waymo ! Having a robotaxi service at the airport sounds like a total game-changer for travelers. No more worrying about finding parking or dealing with traffic, just hop in and ride off into the sunset . And it's awesome that they're starting small, with pick-ups and drop-offs limited to one spot, before expanding to other terminals. I'm all for testing out new tech and making our lives easier . The only thing I'd worry about is what happens if a robot taxi breaks down mid-flight ? But overall, I think this is a super cool development that's gonna change the way we travel in airports
omg I'm so hyped about this! waymo's robotaxi service at sfo airport is like totally game changing! think about it, no more worrying about traffic or parking, just hop in and let the robots do the driving . and yeah, accidents can happen but the fact that they're taking responsibility and working with nhtsa to make sure everything is safe and sound is a major win . can't wait to try it out when I'm heading to super bowl lx in the bay area
