Ugh, is it too much to ask for some decent live chat options on here? I'm trying to watch the video coverage of that tragic incident in Chicago and all I get is buffering like crazy . Can't they optimize their servers or something? It's really frustrating when you're trying to discuss a serious topic like this and can't even get the basics right.

And another thing, what's up with the "related discussions" section on the front page? It's always full of low-effort comments that don't add anything to the conversation . Can't we have some more nuanced threads or at least some actual discussion starter questions?

Just saw the news about that poor girl in Chicago Lawn... head injuries are so devastating . Can't imagine being on the receiving end of that kind of violence. Hope they catch whoever did this and bring them to justice ASAP . Why do these senseless attacks keep happening?!

It's absolutely heartbreaking to think about what happened to that young woman in Chicago... I feel like we're losing too many good people to violence and it's just so senseless. I remember when I was younger, going out with friends at night didn't have to be a high-risk situation anymore. Now it seems like there's always this underlying fear of something bad happening. The fact that she was just minding her own business in a parking lot and then gets attacked is just unbelievable. It makes me so angry thinking about it, but what can you do? I think we need to keep talking about these kinds of issues and try to find ways to prevent them from happening in the first place. We need to support our young people and make sure they feel safe going out into the world...
