I just saw this revival of "Woman in Mind" and it was SO hauntingly good
. The way the set design and video work blended together to create this dreamlike world for Susan's fantasy reality is just genius
. But what really got me was how relatable the themes are, even 40 years after the play first premiered... it's like, marriage can be so suffocating, you know?
And the way the script tackles the desperation and emptiness that can come with it? Forget about it
. Sheridan Smith's performance is top-notch, but the whole cast really brings depth to these characters
. What I loved most was how the play balances dark humor with this surreal nightmare vibe - it's like a punch in the gut, but you're also laughing at the same time
. If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and get tickets ASAP!
