idk why they'd wanna release these guys now 
considering all the destruction they've caused and the lives lost. i mean, 9 mariners held captive for months is already pretty bad, but then you add in the fact that they sank ships and killed people... it just doesn't feel like a fair trade. and what's up with the ceasefire in Gaza? did the Houthis really think that was gonna stick or was it just some kind of PR stunt to distract from their own actions?

these 9 philippino guys must be super relieved to finally be free, but at the same time, who knows what led the Houthis to release them now? 
anyway, glad they're safe and sound in oman

but what's the deal with the Houthis holding fire again in Gaza? seems like a good thing on paper, but we've seen this before where they just stop and then start back up again

. It’s also kinda cool that Oman got involved and helped facilitate the release
