Young people in the UK: can you afford to put money into a pension scheme?

OMG, I feel so bad for these 20-somethings 🤕! Like, they're already struggling to make ends meet and now you're telling them they gotta save up for pension too? That's just not fair, right? 🙄 They should be able to enjoy their lives without stressing about their future. I think it's time for the government to step in and help with some financial solutions... or maybe just a universal basic income would do the trick? 💸

And can we talk about how crazy student loan debts are? £100k is, like, insane! 😱 I remember when my parents were young and they didn't have all these debt problems. It's like, what happened to affordable education? 🤔 Anyway, I'm just hoping that one day our younger generation will be able to enjoy a secure financial future without all the stress 💕.

This is so true that retirement savings seem like an afterthought for them... it's all about survival mode right now. Like, they need food on the table and a roof over their heads before they can worry about pensions 😩. We should be supporting our young people more in this aspect rather than just relying on them to figure it out themselves 🤝.

idk why ppl are stressing about pensions lol like whats the worst that could happen? they'll just live off their parents or something 🤷‍♂️ anyone can just sell some stuff online and make ends meet no big deal. its just a bunch of gov't made rules to make us feel bad about our financial decisions btw, we're supposed to be stressed out but honestly, its all good 🤑

I think it's all good that people are prioritizing their daily expenses over pensions 🤑. I mean, who needs to save for retirement when you can have a social life and travel? It's not like the government is gonna magically provide for everyone in their golden years anyway. And let's be real, £100k student loans isn't so bad... it's just money 💸. People need to learn how to budget and make ends meet – no one is owed a pension just because they're young 🤷‍♂️.

Man, it's crazy what's happening to our youth 🤯. I mean, back in my day, we were worried about how to pay for college, not how to save up for retirement at 25! 🤑 It just seems like the system is set up against them - all this student loan debt and rising living costs... it's like, what's the point of even trying to save? 🤷‍♂️ I remember when you could just start saving money from a young age, not feeling like you were stuck in a never-ending cycle of debt. Now, it feels like they're being forced to choose between two evils - eating or saving for later life. 🥗 It's a shame, really. The future is supposed to be bright, but right now, it just seems so uncertain 🔮.

ugh i feel so bad for these guys 🤕 they're literally being forced to choose between having enough money to live and paying into a pension like who does that?! i remember when i was 20, my parents were still living with me and we had to scrape by, but at least we had time to think about our finances. now it's all so overwhelming 🤯 and the whole student loan debt thing is just insane £100k?! that's crazy 💸 what's even more sad is that they're worried about retirement like it's not a concern for them in their lifetime 🕰️

😒 I mean, what's new? Young adults struggling to save for their future? 🙄 It's not like they're expected to be financially literate or anything... I guess it's just another example of how the younger generation is being squeezed by the system 🤯. And student loan debts topping £100,000? That's just peachy 💸. It's like they're expected to live in cardboard boxes and survive on ramen noodles while paying off their "debts"... meanwhile, we can just keep on accumulating our own "debt" – aka rent 🏠👍. Anyway, what's the point of even having a pension plan if you can't afford it? 😒
