The End of Vigilance: Hong Kong's Tiananmen Crackdown Continues Two prominent pro democracy activists, Lee Cheuk yan and Chow Hang tung, were sentenced to seven years in prison for their involvement with the now disbanded Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China.
The duo was instrumental in organizing the annual Tiananmen vigils, which have been outlawed by Beijing's National Security Law.
