11/25: The Takeout with Major Garrett

You know, I was just thinking about this whole Ukraine thing and it's crazy to think that a war's been goin' on for so long 🤯. Back in my day, we didn't have all these news outlets and social media platforms to keep us updated, but somehow the world still managed to move forward, you know? Anyway, I'm curious about this new book on secret languages... I mean, who knew there was a whole thing about it? 🤔 It's like, our words can shape our reality, right? Like, think about it, we use phrases like "break the news" or "drop the bombshell"... it's wild how language can influence us. I'm gonna have to check out that article on The Takeout 📰...
 
🤯 I mean, what even is going on with this Ukraine situation? It's like, one minute we're all watching these devastating videos of civilians getting hurt, and the next we're hearing about some top-secret peace plan that might actually work... but no one knows anything because it's too "delicate". Like, delicate as in can't-handle-the-truth delicate. I'm not buying it 🙄

And on a completely unrelated note, have you guys ever stopped to think about how crazy it is that our brains are wired to respond to the way we speak? Like, literally, what language are we speaking and why does it matter so much? It's wild to me...
 
can't help but feel a sense of hope for this peace plan 🌟 it's crazy to think that after all this time, there's still a chance for Ukraine and Russia to find common ground. i mean, we've seen some dark days already, but if the white house can make it work, it could be game changing 💡 like, imagine being able to sit down with someone from the other side and actually listen to what they have to say, without all the noise and propaganda 🗣️ it's a tough road ahead, but i think we're overdue for some good news.
 
I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole Ukraine situation 🤯. It's like, we're supposed to believe that a peace plan is just going to magically fix everything, right? I mean, have you seen the state of some of those cities? It's like they've been put through a war machine 💥. And now we're supposed to trust that it'll all be okay and everyone will just get along again 🤝? It feels like a lot of people are holding their breath on this one.

And can we talk about language for a second? I mean, I'm loving the new book about secret languages, but also kinda skeptical 🤔. Like, how many secrets are really that secret? Still, it's fascinating stuff to explore and learn more about, especially in today's world where communication is key 💬.
 
just saw that news about Ukraine peace plan 🤞 hope it leads to something positive, but also kinda worried about the complexities involved - seems like a lot of details are still being kept under wraps 💡 anyway, moving on to the language thing... have you ever noticed how some words can change the way you think about things? like, i saw this video where they were talking about how languages influence our perception of time 🕰️ and it was pretty mind-blowing - makes you wonder what would happen if we all just stopped using certain words and saw the world in a different way 🤯
