I'm so worried about those two surfers! The Coast Guard is doing everything they can, but 90 miles of water to search through? It's a massive area to cover, and it's hard to imagine how long it'd take to find someone in that situation. The waves were huge that night, too - it must've been super tough for them to stay afloat. I hope whoever finds out what happened can bring some closure to the families of those guys...
OMG just read about those 2 surfers missing off Cali coast... like what even is a 7-9ft wave?! Anyway, did you know that the US Coast Guard spends an average of $11 BILLION annually on search and rescue ops? It's crazy! Also, the odds of being involved in a coastal rescue are about 1 in 700,000... pretty low risk, right? And fun fact: the Santa Cruz coast is known for its big waves, but did you know that it's also got some of the most beautiful beaches in the country? Anyway, gotta send love to those missing surfers and their families... fingers crossed!
Ugh, this is so sad ... I mean, can you imagine being out in the water during a huge wave and just not making it back? It's like, what even is the point of surfing if there's gonna be days where it's too rough to be safe? I know some people love the thrill, but for me, I'll stick to watching vids on YouTube ... at least then I can control my own wave level . And seriously, 90 miles of searching is a loooong time ... hope those guys are okay!
I'm really worried about these two surfers . I mean, 7-9 feet waves are huge, but you've gotta respect the ocean, right? It's crazy how quickly things can go wrong out there. And now they're just... gone . I hope whoever finds them is okay, and that their families get some answers soon . The Coast Guard is doing everything they can, but it's just not the same as having concrete proof of what happened out there . Still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good outcome .
this is just so sad... thinkin' about those 2 surfers out there in all that crazy weather... 200 miles with nothin to show... it's like, one wrong wave and they're gone . hope someone finds 'em soon tho . gotta give credit to the Coast Guard tho, they're doin' their best . suspension of search is a tough call but I guess they can't keep searchin' forever . what's the most important thing for them to find out? are they even still alive?
Its so sad what's happening out there ... like these dudes were just out catchin some gnarly waves and then... nothing 200 yards from shore and they just vanished into thin air . You'd think with all them boats and planes searchin, someone woulda found 'em by now . The Coast Guard's doin the best they can, but it's like, what if they ran out of gas or somethin' ? I hope whoever finds 'em is willin to share deets .
