$3.2 million in jewelry and cash stolen in Queens home burglary, police say

Three men in Queens break into a home, steal millions, police say they want your help to catch them.

Around two and twenty p.m. on Thursday, October 16th, the NYPD responded to a reported burglary at a residence near 160th Street and 84th Drive in Jamaica Hills. The suspects made off with an estimated $3.2 million in cash and jewelry after forcing their way into the home through the rear door.

According to police, the men dressed as construction workers, donning black clothing, neon vests, white hard hats, and black backpacks. Two of them wore face coverings and eye protection, while one of them used a grey sweatshirt, black pants, gloves, and sneakers. They made their escape in a blue Hyundai Elantra.

Police are now appealing for information from the public to help identify the three suspects. The NYPD has released images of two of the men wearing black clothing and yellow vests, and is urging anyone with knowledge about the crime to come forward.
