this is just so shocking and sad! Like I can even imagine how scary that must've been for all those people involved 
my heart goes out to the two civilians who got hurt, thank goodness they're stable now 
and to the police officer too, I'm glad his body armor saved him from getting seriously hurt 
this whole situation is just so unfortunate it's like a bad dream that we wish would just go away 
, this is just crazy. I mean, I get it, people can go crazy sometimes, but why do these things always have to happen in residential areas? Can't they just resolve their issues peacefully? The fact that 2 innocent ppl got shot and another cop got hit by a bullet (lucky him with the body armor 
) is just wild. And what's up with the civil investigation? It's gonna take forever, right? They should be looking into why the older dude pulled out his gun in the first place... was it self-defense or did he just lose it? So many questions 
Two dudes have a disagreement and things spiral outta control like a bad rom-com ending! But seriously, can't we all just get along... or at least try not to shoot each other when things go wrong? 
The cop's body armor saved his bacon, but I'm no engineer, so I guess that's one way to improve your chances of survival in a shootout – get some Kevlar underwear! And on a more serious note (just for a sec), hope the injured folks are okay and can recover from this wild morning. These investigations can be super intense, fingers crossed it all gets sorted out soon

You'd think they would've tried to resolve it peacefully before things got out of hand. And now we're left wondering what went down in that split second

. but at the same time, can't we all just try to resolve our differences peacefully? like, what led up to this confrontation in the first place? was there something specific that triggered it? or was it just a case of bad timing and bad decisions? i feel like we need to keep digging into this story and get to the bottom of what really happened...

I mean i get it cops have bad days too but like how does this happen in a residential neighborhood?? 
I'm literally shaking thinking about those two innocent people getting shot & the cop who got hurt too poor thing 
i'm all for keeping people safe, but come on, can we find better ways to resolve conflicts than resorting to guns and armor? 
safety should be everyone's top priority, whether it's on or off the job 
but at the same time, how many times do we gotta see people get caught up in police violence before something changes? 
I mean, I'm glad no one's life is critical, but this could've gone so much worse 
. And what about those police officers who put themselves in harm's way? They could've been killed 
. I'm glad everyone made it out alive (mostly)

. One thing's for sure, though - this incident is gonna spark some serious conversations about police accountability and community trust 
. It's time for us to come together and find ways to prevent stuff like this from happening in the future

. Those officers did their job, but at what cost? The fact that one of them got shot and had to wear bulletproof gear just to make it through the shift is wild 
. And I have to give props to those responding officers for trying to de-escalate the situation
