5 arrested in connection with overdose death of Robert De Niro's grandson

I'm still shaking my head over this... 5 guys caught for their part in selling fentanyl laced pills that killed Robert De Niro's grandson & another teenager 🤯 Those social media platforms gotta do more to stop the traffickers, you know? I mean, it's just crazy how easy it is for them to reach so many people with these fake meds. It's like they're playing a deadly game of Russian roulette... the victims are innocent, not even guilty of anything... 🤕

😞 This whole thing is just heartbreaking... I was watching Akira Stein's dad, Chris Stein, do an interview with Robert De Niro about his grandson a few years ago, and it was so sad to see the pain in their eyes. It's like, what's happening to our kids? They're getting caught up in this deadly fentanyl thing and we can't seem to stop it. 🤕 And now these guys are just selling poison online, thinking they're making a quick buck... it's just sickening. 🚫 The fact that they used social media to do it is just crazy - like, how hard is it to see the harm you're causing? 🤔 Anyway, I'm glad law enforcement was able to crack down on this group and make some arrests, but 16 months is a looong time... what took them so long?! 😩

Ugh, this is so heartbreaking 😔... I mean, can you even imagine your own grandson or nephew dying because some random dude online decided to sell them a fake pill? It's just not right 🙅‍♂️. And the fact that these traffickers were knowingly selling deadly drugs and knew it, but still did it anyway... it's just horrific 💔. The investigation taking 16 months to crack down is, like, way too long 😩. We need to see more action from law enforcement ASAP 🚨. And what really gets me is how social media is being used to facilitate this stuff - can't we just get rid of these platforms or something? 🤦‍♂️ Anyway, I'm glad that some arrests have been made, but it's just a small step in the right direction 🕰️. We need more help and support for families dealing with this kind of loss 💗.

man this is so messed up 🤯 those guys who sold fake pills laced with deadly fentanyl should be locked up forever 💔 they knowingly put these teens and young adults through hell and now we're losing lives because of it 😢 the fact that one of the victims even warned another customer about the dangers but still got hooked is just heartbreaking ❤️ social media being used for illicit activities is a huge problem and law enforcement needs to step up their game 👮‍♂️ can't let these traffickers make more money off our youth 💸

omg u guys i cant even imagine how tragic this is leandro de niro's overdose death was still so young 19 yrs old & akira stein was his friend too 😭 she was like "be careful" to one of the suspects but no one listened 🤯 & now both their lives are gone 💔 fentanyl trafficking is literally a nightmare i mean i know these people were making a lot of money off it but at what cost? 20 yrs in prison is nothing compared to losing ur life or ur loved one 💀& btw can we talk about how easy it is for traffickers to use social media & encrypted apps to sell this stuff to teens & young adults? like, what's the point of having laws if they're just gonna get around them 🤷‍♀️ i'm literally shaking thinking about all these people affected by this 💔

🤔 I'm so over these social media-driven fentanyl trafficking rings! Like, what's next? Selling dodgy vape juice online too? 🤮 It's all just a bunch of young people getting caught up in the "popular" thing to do and then... boom! Overdose. 💀 The fact that some of these kids were even experimenting with the stuff before they got hooked is just heartbreaking.

And don't even get me started on how easy it was for these traffickers to use encrypted messaging apps to sell their poison to teens. Like, we're living in a world where we can easily order pizza or grab a coffee online, but we still can't figure out how to keep illicit drugs off the dark web? 🤦‍♀️ It's just so... frustrating.

I know the Feds are trying to crack down on these operations and all, but we need to be doing more than just arresting people. We need to be educating kids about the dangers of fentanyl and other opioids, and how social media can be used against us. Like, it's not that hard, folks! 🙄
