7 predictions for how MAHA will change how Americans eat

man I'm telling ya... the way we eat is gonna be SO different in 2026 🤯. I remember back in my day, we didn't even have smartphones let alone Instagram and TikTok. restaurants were all about the food, not the 'gram. now it's like they're competing with a photo shoot 📸. and don't even get me started on supplements - my grandma used to swear by her vitamins and whatnot... I'm sure that'll be huge in 2026. premium grocery stores are expanding, but who can afford that kinda cash? mid-range places are getting left behind... it's wild to think how food is gonna change with all these new trends 🤔.

I'm so nostalgic for the days when I used to walk into a diner or a restaurant and just know what I wanted - you know, burgers, fries, milkshakes... 🍔👀 Nowadays it's all about the 'gram and making it look pretty on Instagram. I mean, 77% of Gen Zers care about that? In my day, we didn't even think twice about whether our meal would be pretty enough for a photo 😂. And what's with this emphasis on supplements? Back in the 90s, people just used to eat their vitamins with breakfast like it was no big deal 💊. I worry about these changes in the food landscape - are we losing something special along the way?

🤔 I gotta say, it's wild how much our food culture is shifting in 2026 🍴👀. With people getting more into healthy eating and supplements, restaurants are gonna need to step up their game on the visual front too 📸. All those Instagrammable dishes are gonna be a must for any restaurant wanna make it big 🤣. And I'm loving that mid-price grocers like Kroger are struggling, maybe it's time for them to revamp their stores and offer more natural options 🌿. On the other hand, premium grocery chains like Erewhon are killing the game with high-quality products 💁‍♀️. But, big food companies gotta wake up and adapt to changing consumer preferences 🤯 or they'll get left behind. The shift towards healthier eating is real, and it's gonna be interesting to see how that plays out in 2026 🌈

🤯 I'm so over the idea that restaurants have to be Instagram-worthy just because people are shallow like that 📸. Can't we just focus on serving up good food instead of trying to get likes? And what's with all these supplement companies making a killing off people who can't even be bothered to cook their own meals 🤷‍♀️. It's like, take control of your health for once! 💪
