A dilapidated bridge in Prospect Park is way overdue for a glow-up

omg I was there last week with my fam and that bridge was literally creeping me out 🤣 i mean, I know it's historic and all but the rusting beams were giving me anxiety lol 😬 I remember playing on that bridge when I was little and catching turtles in the lake too! 🐢🌿 it's crazy how much neglect it's gotten over the years. $35 million is a lotta cash tho 💸 like, do we really need to save it? Can't just slap some paint on it and call it good? 🤔 I'm all for preserving history but let's be real, most ppl wouldn't even notice if it fell apart 😂

Ugh, this is just so frustrating 🤯!!! I mean, can't they just get around to fixing it already? The thought of people actually crossing that thing with no safety net is giving me anxiety 💀. I know the city's got more important things on their plate but come on, a $35 million price tag isn't nothing 💸! And yeah, preserving the historical aspect is great and all, but if it means compromising on safety then what's the point? 🤔 It's not like they're asking for much, just some TLC to make that bridge shine again ✨. I'm literally shaking thinking about all those turtles and kids playing sax in that lake... 😭

omg this terrace bridge is literally falling apart 🤯... i mean its like they forgot its there lol. $35 million sounds insane but can you even put a price on preserving history? 😂 it needs a serious makeover, thats for sure! the thought of kids playing saxophones and catching turtles in that lake is just too sweet 💕 and its so sad to see it being neglected. i guess its not just about functionality anymore, its about keeping the charm and nostalgia alive 🌈 the city should def consider preserving the historic aesthetic while also making it safe for everyone ❤️

OMG, like, can't they just fix the bridge already?! 🤦‍♀️ It's been sitting there, all rusty and gross, for OVER A DECADE. I mean, who needs that kind of nostalgia-fueled stress? 😩 The thought of paying $35 million to make it "pretty" again is kinda crazy. Can't we just, like, put a Band-Aid on it or something? 🤕 And what's up with the city not doing anything about this sooner? Like, I get that the pandemic was a thing, but come on, priorities! 🙄 Anyway, fingers crossed they can actually get it done before someone gets hurt... which would be, like, totally avoidable. 💀
