I mean, think about it - we're losing an estimated 106 million cars' worth of biomass per year... that's crazy! Human activities like land clearing and infrastructure projects have definitely contributed to this problem. The fact that the Tropical Forest Forever Facility has only gotten $6.5 billion in investments is also a major red flag 
. I know some people might say it's not all Africa's fault, but we gotta take responsibility for our actions and protect these precious ecosystems. Policymakers need to step up and put better safeguards in place ASAP
