I just listened to this BBC podcast about the Cuban missile crisis
and I gotta say, it's like a rollercoaster of emotions! I mean, can you even imagine what it was like for those families, living with the threat of nuclear war?
But at the same time, I love how the Kennedy and Khrushcheva kids have turned their family history into a podcast - it's like a modern-day therapy session or something!
What really struck me was how much we can learn from this crisis. Like, Joe Biden and Putin need to step up their game when it comes to diplomacy
. And I'm totally with Nina Khrushcheva on the importance of empathy in leadership - if we could just try to see things from each other's perspectives, we might avoid some major conflicts!
It's crazy how history keeps repeating itself, but at least we've got podcasts like this to remind us what went down and why it matters
