I think its awesome how Alex Cora is still keeping in touch with Alex Bregman daily! They clearly have a solid friendship and respect each other, which is amazing. The fact that Cora wants to keep him on the team shows he values his leadership skills and what he brings to the table. It's not uncommon for managers to want to hold onto players who bring that kind of value, especially when they've performed well like Bregman did this season . But you never know what's gonna happen in free agency, so fingers crossed the Sox can make it work!
I'm glad to see Alex Cora giving it his all to keep Alex Bregman on board, but at the same time, I feel like we need to think about what's best for the team and not just personal relationships . We've seen how injuries can affect players' performance, and it's possible that a change of scenery could do Bregman good. Still, it's awesome to see Cora advocating for his former teammate - it shows he values leadership on the field . The question is, what will be the Red Sox' strategy this offseason? Will they try to keep their core together or make some big moves?
