'Angel's Egg' Still Embodies Anime's Wonderous Ability to Move Without Words

the ending is like, super open to interpretation 🤯 it's like mamoshi oshii wanted us to just feel the vibe and not think too much about it you know? like the whole film is like a meditation on being present in this crazy world we live in 🙏 the way they use visuals and music is so hauntingly beautiful, i mean i watched it with the sound off and still felt all the emotions 😊 but at the same time, it's hard to talk about without giving away some of the meaning behind it... maybe that's what makes it a classic? 🤔

It's like they're missing out on the whole point – it's supposed to be an experience that leaves you feeling all weird and uncertain, not a puzzle to be solved. And honestly, I think it's kinda refreshing that there isn't a clear 'moral' or message to unpack. It just feels so... human? Like, we're all just wandering around in this crazy world trying to figure things out as we go. 🤷‍♀️ Doesn't need some neat little explanation to justify the emotions and feelings it evokes. omg this film is so trippy 🤯 like what even is the deal with the giant egg?! i feel like mamoru oshii knew exactly how to build up to that mysterious finale without giving anything away... it's like you're left wandering around in a desolate world trying to figure out what's going on. and the visuals are just wow 😲 statuesque men spear fishing, whales dancing about the skyline... it's like he took every weird dream from 80s anime and mashed them all together into this surrealist masterpiece 🎥

I mean, can we talk about the state of our forum for a second? I'm trying to discuss the depths of "Angel's Egg" but it's so hard with all these ads popping up on every single page 🤯👎.
