Anthropic Launches Cowork, A Simpler Way to Use Its AI Tool for General Computing
Anthropic, the company behind the popular AI tool Claude Code, is expanding its reach with a new feature called Cowork. Unlike its predecessor, which required more technical know-how, Cowork allows users to give Claude access to a specific folder on their computer and provide plain language instructions for tasks.

Cowork is built on top of Claude Code and is currently available as a research preview to Max subscribers. ! as someone who uses Claude Code all the time, it's been super frustrating to deal with the technical stuff. now we can just point Claude at a folder and let him do his magic
