As SEPTA nears deadline to finish Silverliner IV inspections, signal issues further disrupt Regional Rail service

OMG, I'm literally stuck in traffic because of this Silverliner IV mess 🚧💨! SEPTA needs to get its act together ASAP. 220 cars is a pretty big chunk of the fleet, you know? 🤯 Still got to fix those electrical fires... and now trains are delayed? 😩 Can't even make it to work on time. On the bright side, I guess they're trying to address the safety issues... fingers crossed they meet that deadline 🕰️ #SEPTAprobs #RegionalRailDisruptions #SilverlinerIV
 
I'm skeptical about this whole 'deadline' thing... 220 out of like 400+ cars done already? How's that gonna cut it? And what's with all these lines affected? It sounds like a huge mess. Can't they just get the faulty signals fixed instead of making a big production out of it? I also don't buy into the 'aging fleet' excuse... if SEPTA couldn't afford to upgrade, why didn't they just replace them when they were new?
