Ashleigh Plumptre: 'I deeply hurt people by moving to Saudi Arabia'

Ugh, this league is gonna be stuck in neutral forever 🚫... Like, what's the point of even having a women's league if nobody shows up? I mean, 15,000 capacity or less? That's not even a real football stadium anymore 😴. And don't even get me started on the infrastructure stuff - it's all just a bunch of fancy new facilities that aren't gonna make a difference if people aren't watching 📺. I feel bad for Ellen White and all those other players who are trying to build this thing from scratch, but it's hard to be optimistic when it seems like nobody cares 🤷‍♀️... Maybe hosting the World Cup would've been a good idea, but now? Forget about it 💔.

I feel so sorry for those poor women's teams 🤕. 15,000 is super small capacity you know? I'd wanna see a lot more packed stadiums when they play their matches. And what's up with kids not attending games with their families? It's all about the community, ya know? You need parents to take their kids to watch them play and have fun. Maybe they just don't know how cool it is yet 🤔. But for real, Ellen White makes some super valid points. We gotta get more people excited about women's football in Saudi Arabia! I'd love to see a strong foundation built up for the teams. A Women's World Cup? Yeah, that's gonna be hard to achieve if they don't sort out their league first 🤷‍♀️.

I feel bad for the ladies playing in that league 🤕. It's like they're struggling to get some ppl to show up to their matches 🎟️. I mean, 15k is really low capacity, you need more energy from the crowd to get those players pumped up 💪. And it's sad that there aren't many community initiatives for kids and fams to watch games together 👧. But at least some clubs are upgrading their facilities since 2023 🏢. Ellen White makes a good point about still developing women's football in Saudi Arabia 🤔. It's like they need more fans to give them that extra push 💨. I think it's cool that they're trying, but maybe they should focus on building that foundation first 🌆 instead of aiming for the World Cup right now ⏱️.
