Ashleigh Plumptre: 'I deeply hurt people by moving to Saudi Arabia'

I think it's awesome that Saudi Arabia is investing so much in women's football 🤩👏. Like, major investments in new stadiums and training facilities? That's a huge step forward! And I'm sure having big names like Asisat Oshoala and Kheira Hamraoui playing for teams this season will definitely help bring more attention to the league 🌟.

But yeah, it's gotta be tough with attendance figures being so low 😔. You'd think that people would want to support women's football, but I guess it's just a bit of an under-the-radar thing right now. Hopefully, as the league grows and gets more established, we'll see more fans coming out to support their teams 🎉.

I'm not sure about this whole Women's World Cup thing though... like, I know it sounds exciting, but it might be a big ask for them to host it so soon 👀. Maybe they should just focus on getting the league up and running properly before thinking about bigger events? But overall, I'm all for Saudi Arabia pushing ahead with their women's football plans 💪!

I gotta say, I'm a bit surprised they're not getting more people to the games 🤔. I mean, having all those big names like Asisat Oshoala join the league should bring in some excitement, but apparently it's just not happening 😐. The thing is, I think what's missing is just some community events or stuff like that to get families involved and make it a fun day out for everyone 👪. But hey, at least they're getting some visibility with FIFA and DAZN, right? 📺 That's gotta help build up the league eventually. And yeah, building new stadiums and training facilities is a big plus 🏟️, but you're right, more needs to be done to support the players and teams long-term 💪

it's crazy how much money they're investing in women's football in Saudi Arabia but it still feels like they're struggling to get people interested 🤔. I mean, 15k capacity stadiums can't exactly fill up every week 😂. I think the problem is that there's just not enough grassroots initiatives to encourage kids and families to start watching the games from a young age. we need more community events, schools outreach programs, and social media campaigns to get people excited about women's football 📱👍. and yeah, hosting the Women's World Cup is still a pipe dream for now 😅. but let's be real, it'll happen eventually! ⚽
