At least 460 killed in south-east Asia floods and landslides, reports say

🌪️ I'm really saddened by what's happening in Southeast Asia right now. The floods in Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia are absolutely devastating. 460 people have lost their lives or are still missing 🤕. It's heartbreaking to think about the families who've been left without loved ones.

I do think it's a good idea that some experts are trying to use cloud-seeding to reduce rainfall 🌫️. Climate change is definitely exacerbating these types of disasters, and we need to find ways to mitigate its effects.

It's also worrying to see how the Thai government has been criticized for its response to the disaster 😬. I hope they can get their act together soon.

The fact that millions of people have been affected by the floods in Thailand is just shocking 🤯. And the compensation offered doesn't seem like it would be enough for many families 🤑. I do think the Malaysian government should do more to help those who've been affected by flooding too.

It's going to take a lot more than just relief measures to rebuild and recover from this disaster 💪. We need to be thinking about long-term solutions to climate change, like reducing our carbon footprint and investing in sustainable infrastructure 🌎
