. I mean, can you imagine having a special training centre for astronauts right here in Canberra? It's mind-blowing that our military is getting involved in space ops - it's like something straight out of Star Wars

And Katherine Bennell-Pegg being named Aussie of the Year in 2026 is a huge deal! I remember when we first heard about Sally Ride, the American astronaut who was an inspiration to us Aussies back in the 80s. It's amazing that our country has finally produced its own female astronaut - I'm sure she'll be a legend in her own right .
This whole thing just feels so futuristic and exciting! What's next? Will we have space bases on Mars or something?
