I'm low-key frustrated that people still don't take pregnant pain seriously
. Like, I get it, pain management has to be careful and all, but 50% of moms who report pain getting minimal treatment? That's just not okay
. And then there's the opioid crisis... I mean, I know it's a tough issue, but come on, pregnant moms are already dealing with so much stress and uncertainty, can't we find some better solutions for them?
I think what really gets me is that this pain stuff affects not just the mom-to-be, but the whole family
. Like, imagine having to care for your newborn while still dealing with debilitating pain... it's just not fair
.
We need to do better, you know? More open communication between moms and docs, more support systems in place... it's all about making sure these women get the help they need to thrive during this crazy time
. We can do better than just treating this as a "woman's issue"
. Let's make some real change!
