Ban on Palestine Action is repugnant and should be lifted, high court told

I'm still waiting for some concrete evidence on this Palestine Action group's supposed "threat" to UK businesses... like, what exactly did they do? Show me that report from Sept 2024, Raza Husain KC said it was all about non-violent direct action but then why are people still getting arrested & taken away outside the court today? 🤔

And I'm not buying that "extreme measure" argument... sounds like an overreach of authority to me. If they're really concerned about business safety, how come no other protest groups got slapped with a ban? It's all about silencing dissenting voices, if you ask me 💪

I'm literally freaking out 🤯! This is so not right - the UK government can't just ban an org like Palestine Action without proper proof that they're a threat 🚫. I mean, come on, 2k people got arrested but still facing trial? That's a total miscarriage of justice! And these prisoners are literally dying on hunger strike 💀... it's so unfair. We need to stand with them and show some love ❤️. The fact that over 100 docs signed a letter saying they need NHS care is just crazy 🤯 - how can we expect to have a functioning society when we're not even looking out for each other? We gotta do better, UK! 🇬🇧

🤝 I'm so hyped that this case is going all the way to the High Court! 🚨 This ban on Palestine Action group has been a total overreach of powers, you know? 🙅‍♂️ The fact that they're saying it's interfering with fundamental rights like freedom of protest and expression just makes me angry 😡. I mean, come on! We're talking about people standing up for what they believe in, and we're punishing them for it? 🤦‍♀️ It's not like the group is advocating for violence or harm to others - they're just trying to raise awareness about a situation that needs attention.

I'm also loving the fact that over 100 medical doctors have signed a letter supporting these prisoners on hunger strike. 💊 You can't put a price on people's health and well-being, right? 🤝 We need more of this kind of solidarity and support for those who are fighting for what they believe in. 👏

I don't think it's right that the UK government is so quick to ban groups like Palestine Action 🤷‍♂️. I mean, freedom of protest and expression are super important, you know? It's not about being violent or causing harm, it's just people wanting to be heard and stand up for what they believe in 💬.

And to say that the ban is disproportionate is kinda obvious, don't you think? 😅 Like, who decides what's "disproportionate" anyway? The police? They're the ones who are always on the lookout for something to crack down on. It's not like the group is doing anything wrong in the first place 🙄.

I'm all about supporting people's right to peaceful protest and activism 💪. And if 2,000+ people were arrested for just showing support for a cause they care about, that's just crazy 🤯. I think we should be giving them more room to breathe and express themselves, not less 🙏.

Plus, the fact that there are doctors who are like "please help these prisoners" is really telling 😊. I mean, if even medics can see the humanity in it all, then what's going on? 🤔

🤔 honestly can't believe what's going on here... all this drama over a group trying to raise awareness about Palestine 🌎. It feels like we're living in a world where protesting is seen as some kind of crime 🚫. I mean, come on, freedom of expression is a fundamental right! 👊 if the gov can just swoop in and ban a whole group without doing their due diligence, what's next? 🤯 2k people arrested for showing support... that's just outrageous 😡. And now they're putting pressure on these prisoners to break their hunger strike by threatening them with hospitalization... 🏥 it's like they're treating them like animals rather than human beings 🐾. I just can't fathom why we need all this red tape and bureaucracy getting in the way of people having a voice 💬.
