BBC Sport weekly quiz: Whose overhead kick helped Scotland reach World Cup?

omg what a shocking turn of events 🤯 i was literally watching that game with my mates and we were all going wild when furuhashi scored, like who expects an overhead kick from the midfield? anyway, gotta say i'm loving the underdog story here, scotland's been through some rough times on the pitch but they've finally made it to the world cup 🏆 this is gonna be interesting to watch, especially against teams like france and brazil... will they be able to hold their own? 💪

🤔 I'm kinda surprised they made it to the World Cup, i mean, 23 years is a long time without qualification... 🙄 BUT at the same time, Kyogo Furuhashi's goal was super crazy and shows that Scotland has some hidden talent 😮. But, come on, how did they even manage to qualify directly? That seems kinda fishy 🐟. And what about their team form leading up to the World Cup? Were they really that strong or just got lucky? 🤷‍♂️ I'm both excited and skeptical at the same time 🎉😬

omg u gotta be kidding me! kyogo furuhashi is a genius!!! that overhead kick was insane ! i was watching with my mates and we all lost it when he scored 🤯🎉 scotland's finally back in the world cup after 23 yrs, what a incredible comeback story! did they get any major sponsors to help them fund this team or something? anyone else as hyped as me?! 😆

🤷‍♂️ So, I guess it's not surprising that a team with only 24 years of experience in the World Cup is making waves 😏. But seriously, Kyogo Furuhashi's goal was pretty impressive... for a guy who plays in Scotland's top tier 🙄. Like, how did he even know where to put his head? I mean, I'm no expert, but I'd've thought it was gonna be a long shot 🤦‍♂️. Still, gotta give credit to the Scottish team for pulling off an upset... who knows, maybe they'll make it further than expected 😏.

Scotland finally makes it to the World Cup after 23 years, because who needs a decent team effort when you can just have one guy launch a ball over the goalkeeper's head like a proper hero 🤦‍♂️. I mean, I've seen some weird goals in my time, but this overhead kick is up there with the likes of Ronaldinho's acrobatics. Did the Scottish fans really think this was going to happen? 'We're gonna win the World Cup, we're gonna win the World Cup'... yeah sure, lads 💪.

Anyway, kudos to Kyogo Furuhashi for his impressive goal and all that, but let's be real, it's not like Scotland didn't deserve a spot in the tournament. They've been playing decent footy for years now 🙃. Still, I guess this is a good news story for Scottish football – they're finally back on the international scene, even if it was via a single player's heroics 😎. Bring on the World Cup, Scotland! Maybe you'll surprise everyone (again) with your team effort... or not 😉.

🤯 Man, that overhead kick was just insane! It made me think, what is it about moments like these that really gets us pumped up? Is it the excitement of witnessing something truly remarkable, or is it a release of pent-up energy and anticipation? I mean, for Scotland fans who've been waiting 23 years to see their team in the World Cup, this must have been a dream come true. It's like they say, "the impossible becomes possible" right before our eyes... but what does that really mean?
