Bears nominate center Drew Dalman for Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award

Drew Dalman seems like a solid player but I'm not convinced he deserves this award just yet . I mean, don't get me wrong, the guy's been putting in some serious work on the field, but is it really that remarkable? Is it just a case of being on a winning team and getting more opportunities to shine? I'm not saying he's not deserving or anything, but let's see how he performs under pressure. And what about the other nominees? Jordan Love and Derrick Barnes seem like solid candidates too... I need to know more before I start jumping on the Dalman bandwagon

I'm loving this award, it's so cool to see the NFL recognizing these guys for being awesome teammates ! But you know what's also kinda wild? That we're living in a time where Drew Dalman's work ethic is basically legendary – like, he plays every single snap on his side of the ball, no joke! It's impressive, but it makes me think about all the other guys who are out there grinding just as hard, even if they don't get the same recognition.

And can we talk about how awesome it is that Khalil Mack is in the running for this award after making a big change like that? I mean, it shows that he's still got his integrity and class, and that's something to be admired. The Bears have been nominated for this thing three years in a row now, so maybe one day we'll see a Bears player take home the award... a guy can dream, right?

omg I'm so stoked to see the Chicago Bears nominating Drew Dalman for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award ! it's like totally awesome that they're giving him some love for being such a dedicated & responsible player on the field . I gotta say, I'm still skeptical about this whole "sportsmanship award" thing . I mean, what's really being rewarded here? Just being a good team player and showing up to work every day? It sounds like just another PR stunt to me.

And don't get me wrong, Drew Dalman seems like a stand-up guy and all, but is he really worthy of this kind of recognition? I'm not convinced that this award is being given out fairly or that it's actually making a meaningful difference. It just feels like another way for the NFL to pat themselves on the back for doing what they're supposed to do anyway .

I'd love to see some actual data on how this award affects player behavior and team performance, but I'm not holding my breath . Still, I guess it's nice to see a player getting recognition for being a good sport about it .
