Bill Ackman Gave $10,000 to Jonathan Ross GoFundMe Created by User Linked to Nazi Salute Image

Billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman has donated $10,000 to a GoFundMe campaign for ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who was involved in the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good.

Good's family received over $1.5 million in donations from other GoFundMe campaigns after her death. The donation made by Ackman came as news emerged that an account linked to Ross had been created a fundraiser with a white supremacist image and a message calling the deceased woman “a stupod bitch who got what she deserved.”

Ackman, a vocal critic of anti-Semitism on American university campuses, shared a right-wing influencer’s post about the fundraiser for Ross and said he wanted to donate to both Good's and Ross's fundraisers. However, Ackman stated that by the time he made his donation, Good's fundraiser had already been shut down.

The GoFundMe campaign for Ross has attracted nearly half a million dollars in donations. The account used to create the fundraiser was linked to Clyde Emmons of Michigan, who shared white supremacist imagery on Facebook and posted messages disparaging Good.

GoFundMe stated that it is investigating this situation as well as other campaigns related to the shooting in Minneapolis to ensure compliance with their terms and services.

OMG, just when you thought Bill Ackman was being all about those #JusticeReform vibes 🤝, he goes and donates to a GoFundMe for an ICE agent involved in a fatal shooting... Meanwhile, Renee Nicole Good's family is still reeling from the loss and they got barely anything 💸. It's just not right that her GoFundMe was shut down so quickly & that an account linked to Ross created a hateful fundraiser with some pretty vile language 🤢. Ackman's decision to donate to both funds despite knowing about the other one is definitely a red flag 🔒. GoFundMe needs to get on top of this ASAP and ensure all campaigns are handled fairly and without hate 🚫. Can't have our platforms being used for such toxic behavior 💔 #GoFundMeProblems #JusticeForRenee #WhiteSupremacyIsNotWelcome

I'm really disappointed by Bill Ackman's decision to donate $10k to a GoFundMe campaign for an ICE agent involved in a fatal shooting. I mean, come on, that fundraiser was pretty sketchy, right? I get that everyone deserves support during tough times, but this is just so...problematic. Ackman's past statements about anti-Semitism on campus are definitely worth listening to, and now it seems like he's kinda flip-flopping on this whole thing.

The fact that a white supremacist image was used in the fundraiser for Ross, of all people, is just mind-blowing. It's not cool, Bill, and I think you should've done more research before donating. The GoFundMe community has always prided itself on being inclusive and respectful, but this incident raises some serious red flags.

It's also kinda ironic that Ackman's original statement about wanting to support both Good's and Ross's fundraisers was cut short because of the hate-filled fundraiser for Ross. I guess you could say his actions speak louder than words right now... 🤔

This whole thing is wild 🤯. Like, I get why Ackman wants to support Ross, but the fact that there was a white supremacist image on the fundraiser is just sick 🚫. And for Good's family to have gone through all that trauma and then to see this... it's just not right 😔. I'm trying to understand why Ackman shared the post about Ross, I guess he thought he could help? But at the same time, shouldn't he've been more careful? 🤔. And what's even crazier is that GoFundMe's investigation might actually lead to some real change 💪. This whole situation just highlights how messed up things can get when there are hate groups involved 🚨.

this is so messed up 🤯👎... like how can someone create a fundraiser for ICE agent involved in a fatal shooting & put white supremacist stuff online? 🚫💣 that's not what fundraisers are for 💸😡... Bill Ackman trying to donate to both but GoFundMe already shut down Renee's one? 😔👀 why did it get taken down so fast tho? 🤔 maybe GoFundMe should be more careful with vetting donors & campaigns 📝💯... this is super problematic and needs to be looked into 👮‍♂️💼

🤯 omg can you believe bill ackman donated 10k to jonathan ross's gofundme like what even is going on here?? his fam got over 1.5 million from other ppl for renee good's death but Ackman just casually donates a tiny fraction of that... meanwhile another account linked to ross created a fundraiser with some seriously messed up white supremacist stuff 🤮 and ackman actually shared it like he was cool w/ it lol & then he says he wanted 2 donate to both campaigns but by the time he did good's one was already shut down 🙄 can we pls get a clarification on this whole thing gofundme is investigating i guess so fingers crossed they get their act together

🤔 I don't get why Bill Ackman, a billionaire, would donate $10k to a GoFundMe for an ICE agent involved in a fatal shooting that seems pretty unjust. It's like he's supporting the bad guy 🙅‍♂️. And what's with this white supremacist image on the fundraiser? That's just messed up 😡. I mean, Ackman speaks out against anti-Semitism on campus, but it looks like he missed this one. The fact that Good's family got over $1.5 million from other GoFundMe campaigns is pretty cool, though 💸. It's just weird that Ackman didn't know about the fundraiser with the racist image before he donated his cash 🤑. I hope GoFundMe gets to the bottom of this and makes sure it doesn't happen again 👀.

omg this is soooo disturbing 🤯🚨 I mean i get that ppl can be crazy but a fundraiser created by someone who thinks bashing someone cuz of their race is ok is just low 🙅‍♂️ 10k from Bill Ackman or not, it just shows how messed up our society is right now...can't we all just get along? 😔💕

omg what r ppl thinkin?? Bill Ackman donatin $10k 2 some dude who got caught up in a hate crime & he's just goin 4 it like Good's fam didn't already have $1.5 mil ?? i mean i get Ackman wants 2 stand up 4 victims but this is just twisted. his tweet bout Ross' fundraiser w/ white supremacist image & message 2 Renee Nicole was all over the place - how can he defend that & claim he wanted 2 support both fundraisers at the same time? it's just a bunch of messed up logic if u ask me 🤯👎

🤯 I'm so saddened by this whole situation. A GoFundMe for a police officer who was involved in the fatal shooting of a young woman, only to have another fundraiser pop up that's just disgusting 🚫. The fact that someone used white supremacist imagery and made such vile comments about the victim is just heartbreaking ❤️. I'm glad Bill Ackman stepped up with a donation, even if it was too late for Renee's original fundraiser. 💸 It's clear that GoFundMe needs to step up their game on monitoring these types of fundraisers 📊.

omg what's going on here? 🤯 bill ackman just donated 10k to jonathan ross's gofundme campaign but there's a super shady twist... another gofundme account linked to this guy Clyde Emmons has some seriously racist stuff on facebook and even made a fundraiser with a white supremacist image after renee good's death 🚫😷 i don't know about bill ackman, but it sounds like he might be trying to do the right thing despite all the icky vibes coming from these gofundme accounts. and gofundme is investigating? hopefully they can sort this mess out ASAP 💖

omg like i cant even believe what's goin on here 🤯 so bill ackman just donts a $10k donation 2 some guy who killed a girl & now theres another fundraiser w/ racist stuff posted by this dude... it just gets worse & worse 😩. the fact that good's family already got like 1.5 mil from other donors is crazy, but at least they wont be affected by this one 🙏. i wish gofundme wouldve been more strict about this kinda thing from the start, its all too easy 4 ppl 2 just make fake accounts & spam their way into gettin money 💸 anyhoo, cant wait 2 see what happenz next

🤯 just saw the craziest thing - some billionaire dude is donating 10 grand to a fundraiser for an ICE agent who was involved in a fatal shooting, but here's the kicker... there's already been another fundraiser created with some white supremacist nonsense going on 🙄. I'm all for people showing support for each other, but come on, can't we do better than this? It's like, we should be promoting love and understanding, not hate and division. And what really gets my goat is that this guy shared a post about the fundraiser without even knowing it was problematic first 🤦‍♂️. I'm all for free speech, but sometimes you gotta draw the line, you know?

omg this is soooo messed up!! 🤯 I cant even believe someone would do something like that 🙅‍♂️! Bill Ackman's donation was really sweet tho, it shows he still cares about kindness 💕. But GoFundMe needs to step up their game ASAP 👊! How can they let white supremacist crap on their site? 🤔 They need to make sure all those fundraisers are safe and respectful 🌈💖

man this is wild 💥 think about it, $10k from a billionaire to an ICE agent who's involved in a fatal shooting, but at the same time there's another GoFundMe campaign that's got some seriously messed up vibes 🤢 like what even is that? and then you gotta wonder about Bill Ackman's motives too, he's all about fighting anti-Semitism on campus, so why not extend that to online hate groups? it's like, we gotta ask ourselves if our online spaces are still safe for everyone 🤔
