Three young men led police on a wild high-speed chase in San Bernardino on Sunday before ditching their car and attempting to flee on foot. The brazen escapade began at 2:13 a.m., when deputies spotted the 2010 Infiniti G37 speeding down a residential street, its driver pushing the vehicle to over 100 miles per hour.

As police closed in, the driver, 21-year-old Yucaipa resident Christian Ivan Rios, executed a series of sharp turns and narrowly avoided collisions before pulling into a driveway. However, instead of surrendering, he abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot alongside his two passengers, Adrian Adono and Jerry Barrientos.

The three men were eventually caught without incident by deputies, who arrested them for public intoxication and resisting a peace officer. Rios faces charges including felony evading, exhibition of speed, reckless driving, and driving under the influence. The Infiniti has been impounded for 30 days due to California law requiring it be taken off the road after a reckless driving charge.

Police praised their quick thinking in bringing the chase to an end without putting themselves or others at risk.

i was thinking about my old friend from college who used to drive that fast all the time... he would always say its fun to push the limits, but i never thought it would end like this 🤷‍♂️. anyway, i'm glad no one got hurt, and i hope these guys get some serious consequences for their reckless behavior 😒.

its just a reminder of how fast cars can go nowadays... I remember when my dad used to drive his old Honda Civic, that thing was slow by today's standards 🚗😂. but seriously, folks, be careful out there, especially at night 🌃.

omg what's with these young adults and speed ?? like, do they not know how fast 100mph is ?? i mean, i get it, they were probably trying to impress someone (no idea who), but seriously, that's just asking for a ticket...or worse. glad the cops weren't hurt though, their quick thinking was definitely needed 😂💨. btw, public intoxication too? shouldn't they have been able to handle their liquor 🤣

I was just reading about this crazy new restaurant that just opened up near my place, and I'm totally thinking of trying it out this weekend 🤔. Apparently, they have this insane burger with a million different toppings... I mean, who needs that much? But I guess if you're into that sorta thing, go for it! Wow 🤯, this is crazy! A car chase like that can happen only in movies... I mean what was going through these guys' minds? 😂 Did they really think they could outrun the law? The speeds they were driving are insane, over 100 miles per hour on a residential street... no wonder they got caught.
