Brooklyn man charged in stabbing death of his 85-year-old grandmother

man that's like such a sad story 🤕 but i gotta think about it from a different perspective... maybe king wasn't thinking clearly cuz of some mental health struggle? if he was, that means we got to know him before this and can try to help others who might be struggling too 💡 also, think about all the amazing 85-year-old women like grandma boomer who left an impact on people's lives 🙏 it's crazy how one person can make a difference in so many ways... and yeah, 2026 just got a little more complicated with this case, but we'll get through it 💪

omg can you even imagine doing something like that to your own grandma 🤯?! i mean, poor Julia Boomer she was just 85 and didn't deserve to go out like that... the fact that it took them a whole extra day to charge him is pretty wild too - guess they were just giving him some extra time to contemplate his actions? 🙄

This is such a tragic story... 🤕 I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, you know? It's like, how can one person go through so much pain and just lash out like that? 😩 Jackson King's actions are just heartbreaking, especially given his age - 22 seems old enough to know better. And poor Julia Boomer, she was just an 85-year-old woman who deserved to live out her golden years in peace.

The fact that it took them this long to charge him is kinda mind-blowing too... I mean, police were investigating a possible psychotic episode, but still... 🤔 It's like they didn't have enough evidence to make a decision right away. And the citywide homicide stats are just weird - 8 per year for 2024 and 2025? That doesn't seem that high at all... I'm guessing there must be some other factors going on here that we're not seeing.

Anyway, my thoughts are with Julia Boomer's family and loved ones right now. 💕

OMG u guys 🤯 like i was just thinking about how some people can be so out of control and violent, even when their family members are around... i mean, an 85-year-old grandma getting stabbed is just crazy 😱. and the fact that it took them a whole week to charge him with murder and a weapons offense is wild 🕰️. i guess u never know what's going on in someone's head until it's too late 💔. anyway, this incident does make me think about the importance of mental health support and resources for students... like, we need more counseling services and stuff to help us cope with our own stress and emotions 🤝.
