What's going on with these young folks these days? I mean, jumping off bridges during marathons? That's just crazy talk! 
Back in my day, we didn't do that kind of stuff. We'd be out having a good time at the park or catching a ballgame, not trying to pull some hare-brained stunt like this.
I mean, think about it, they've got these new safety measures on the bridge now, and what does our man Jonathan Warren do? He jumps off anyway!
It's just not worth it, you know? The cops were quick to catch him, but still... I feel bad for them, really. They're the ones who've got to deal with all this drama.
I guess what gets me is that these stunts might get some people talking, but they're not exactly the kind of attention we want. Can't we just enjoy a good run or walk without trying to be heroes?

I mean, I get it, safety measures are important, but this isn't exactly the way to drive that point home... I guess you could say he's been "fenced in" by his own reckless behavior 
. Seriously though, $32 million is a big investment for fencing, and hopefully it'll make a difference. You'd think someone would've known better than to try this stunt

it's not like he was trying to break any record or anything. reckless endangerment, yeah no kidding. i just dont get people who think they can do whatever they want without consequences 
and now some poor cops have to deal with the aftermath of this stupid stunt. anyway, glad no one else got hurt
