Browns insider reveals astronomical price for John Harbaugh

Cleveland Browns Are Prepared to Spend Astronomical Price to Land John Harbaugh

The Cleveland Browns are frantically searching for a new head coach after parting ways with Kevin Stefanski, and John Harbaugh has become the top name on their wish list. The Baltimore Ravens' outgoing coach is highly sought after due to his impressive track record, which includes a 180-113 regular-season record and a Super Bowl championship in 2012.

However, what makes Harbaugh's departure from Cleveland so difficult is not just his winning pedigree but also the exorbitant demands he is likely to make. According to an insider source, Tony Grossi of ESPN Radio, it would take a staggering $20 million per year for the Browns to secure Harbaugh's services, along with a $10 million staff budget, complete control over the roster, and the power to choose his own general manager.

This offer is nothing short of catastrophic for the franchise. While Cleveland has been plagued by mediocrity in recent years, it's hard to imagine any team willing to give up so much control and investment to bring Harbaugh on board. The price tag alone would be a huge burden, especially considering the Browns' struggling financial situation.

As the coaching carousel continues to spin, other teams are also vying for Harbaugh's attention. Potential landing spots include the Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, and Tennessee Titans, among others. However, it remains to be seen whether Cleveland is willing to go all-out to secure its dream candidate.

The Browns' pursuit of Harbaugh raises more questions than answers. Can they afford such a high price tag? Will the team's front office be able to negotiate terms that meet Harbaugh's demands? And what implications would this have for the franchise's future, both on and off the field?

One thing is certain: Cleveland must get aggressive if it wants to land Harbaugh. Anything less would be a step backwards in their bid to reclaim the NFL.

🚨💸 I don't think the Browns are thinking clearly here 🤯. 20 million per year is just insane! They're already struggling financially, and this would be like throwing gas on a fire 🔥. And what's with all these demands from Harbaugh? Control over the roster and power to choose his own GM? That's not how it works in the NFL 🏈. The Browns need to set some boundaries and priorities before they start throwing money around like confetti 💸. Can't they just focus on finding a solid coach who'll lead them to success without breaking the bank 💪? It's just too much, too fast 🚫.

I'm like "omg" just thinking about how crazy that number is 20 mil per year lol, i mean harbaugh's definitely a top coach but cleveland can't even take care of their own players let alone shell out that kind of cash 🤑😂. it's gonna be tough for them to make it work, especially with their current financial situation and all the other teams sniffing around him 🤯. i think they need to be more realistic about what they can afford and what they really need in a coach, not just some flashy name that's gonna end up being a huge burden 💸😐

OMG, can u blv how much $$$ the Browns r willin to throw around 4 Harbaugh? Like, $20 mil per yr is CRAZY talk! I dont think any team wud give up that kinda control & investment 2. Its like they think they r made of money or sumthin 🤑🏈. Cleveland's financial situation isnt exactly rosy, so im not sure how they r gonna swing this deal. Harbaugh's a great coach and all, but c'mon, Browns! u gotta be realistic here 😂

I'm not sure if $20 million per year is totally out of the question for Harbaugh's salary... I mean, he did win that Super Bowl, you know? 🤔 But at the same time, it's like, Cleveland Browns don't even have a good TV deal right now, let alone pay their players. It feels like they're throwing around way more cash than they should be, especially considering their history of losing money.

I'm all for them trying to land Harbaugh or whoever else they want, but they gotta make some smart moves too, you feel? Maybe they could try to negotiate a deal that's more... reasonable. Like, $10 million per year is already pretty steep, and adding in another 5-6 million just seems crazy. I get why they'd want him, but can't they see how it might hurt the franchise in the long run?

It's like, what's the point of having a great coach if you're just gonna be broke afterwards? 🤑

I don't think $20 million per year is fair... like, I get why they want him with all his winning experience and all 🤔 but 20 mil is just too much 💸. What if the team can't even pay the players on the field? That's not a good look for them 📺. Can't they try to negotiate or something? Like, find some middle ground? $10 million staff budget sounds reasonable I guess 👍

I'm so done with the Browns' front office right now 🤯. I mean, they just lost Stefanski and now they're trying to spend like crazy on Harbaugh? That's just not fair to the fans, you know? We already have to pay through the nose for our tickets and parking... $20 million a year for one coach is just insane! 💸 I don't care if he's got a Super Bowl ring, it's not worth breaking the bank like that. And what about all those other teams throwing their hats into the ring? It feels like we're being played here... 😒
