after 25 whole years

! It's like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders

. The recent storms have been a blessing from the skies

and filled up those lakes, Shasta and Oroville, to historic levels

. But, experts are still keeping an eye on the snowpack levels in the Sierra Nevada

- gotta be cautious with that water supply

. It's crazy how one extreme weather event can bring both relief and devastation

. The memories of drought years will linger, but it's a good reminder to take care of our planet

. And, wow, 20+ deaths due to flooding is just heartbreaking

. Time for Californians to keep on adapting to that unpredictable climate
